The Juniper Ridge Family Cabin is one of our most "western" accommodations, featuring wrap around deck, fantastic views, TV-DVD, WIFI, picnic table, full kitchen, dining room table, all linens, washer & dryer, night sky viewing, sunrise, sunset.

The Juniper Ridge Family Cabin (located 3 miles north of Blanding, Utah) is truly one of our most western cabin accommodations, featuring wrap around deck, fire pit, TV, DVD, WIFI, picnic table, fully furnished kitchen, dining room table, all linens, washer & dryer! Sleeps up to 10+ people including adults and children.
A one-of-a-kind vacation cabin, set alone on Blue Mountain Road with a 360-degree view in all directions as far as the eye can see, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah! Relax on the large deck in the sun or shade. The Juniper Ridge Family Cabin makes you feel secluded, while just two miles away lies the most popular lake in San Juan County - great for swimming, fishing, boating, and water sports!
Inside, you'll find much more space than you anticipated - with stunning vaulted ceilings, 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, wood-burning stove, a very spacious living room, and cozy sofas!
Four of the bedrooms have a Queen Bed for comfort. The last bedroom has a twin bunk bed.
All linens (towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc.) are provided for you. The kitchen is also stocked with all the cooking and serving utensils - all you bring is the food and condiments!
WIFI, TV, and DVD are provided at no additional cost - that is of course if you ever have time to use them. Our guess is, you'll be so busy exploring all the popular national and state parks and monuments in southeast Utah - that's right, the Juniper Ridge Family Cabin is located centrally among more than a dozen of them!

(Please note: the house is NOT pet-friendly).

For your privacy we are not onsite but are available by phone 24 hours a day, and we are just a short drive away for your convenience.

We are on our own little ranch with amazing views.

You will need a car or some other type of personal transportation to get around. If you want to bring your bike there are many great bike rides from our getaway.

What a warm and lovely home! The Hunts have gone way out of their way to ensure you have a nice day. The book of local tips even includes recommended itineraries. The home is well-appointed and able to accommodate a larger party. I highly recommend this wonderful home and the beautiful adventure-land of Southeastern Utah.

This place is definitely a one of a kind cabin. We stayed here for just over a week for work and the owners were kind and generous. They even offered to let us use their kayak for a day on the lake, but we would have preferred a little less sawing and hammering 50 feet from the house before 7am. Our propane on the grill ran out, but it was taken care of the very next day. In one of the images it shows a smoker next to the grill and it was not there. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I love this place and have stayed here twice. We had a great time in a very unique property. We have referred friends to this particular property who also visit this area. Prior to this time we had a great experience with communication with this host’s property management company. I’m very sorry to say there were some issues in getting a response post-reservation about some concerns we had. I’m still feeling unsettled by the experience.

Spectacular views, especially during sunrise and sunsets and great night sky views too. Unique decor, books and musical instruments and other artifacts. A little difficult to access the rooms downstairs for the elderly since the spiral staircase is a bit narrow and you have to watch your head. Good mid way point to Arches, Mesa Verde, Monument Valley. Delicious home made pancake mix for one breakfast. Had everything we needed to spend a full week with family and grandparents. Unique and beautiful house. Wish the pesky flies could be kept out, but it is the desert, and they snuck in if the doors were left open. Would love to go back again.

This is a wonderful, peaceful retreat for a very large family. The cottage is absolutely beautiful - every inch hand done by the owners. The property is so calm and peaceful and the deck makes for perfect stargazing. They have compiled a large book of everything you need to know about the area which was very helpful. They even leave all the fixin's for a country breakfast. The house was immaculate. Just a lovely spot for the whole family to spread out and relax. Thanks again!

Juniper Ridge is an amazing place to stay! Great views all the way around and an amazing, starry sky at night. Perfect for large groups with lots of room to spread out and relax. Close to many of the area attractions - an excellent home base. Hospitality was top notch and greatly appreciated. Would love to stay again!
