A unique property with 6 person hotub, gorgeous views, lake, a beautiful wooden chalet and big lot to play around !! Located just 55 minutes from Ottawa downtown you can find this hidden gem with lots of nature and privacy.

One side you have the cliff and other side you have the lake !

Often you will find turkeys coming up on the property as well ;)
Inside you will find wonderful wooden interior with rustic feel. A large king size bedroom with gorgeous views from the attic, On the main floor you will have main wash, a bedroom, living space, kitchen, and dinning table for 6.

P.S:- The couch in living room is sofa - bed ;)

We stayed at Joy’s Chalet for a long weekend and absolutely enjoyed it, the cottage was beautifully decorated for the fall and Harsh was very communicative throughout our stay and answered all of our questions. The hot tub was great for those cold fall nights and the views were amazing! Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing hidden gem

I really wasn’t going to write a review because this was such an amazing hidden gem that I just want to keep it to myself haha my husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary with our pup and when I tell you we were ready to stay forever I mean it. It was perfect and had everything you”d hope for in such a location. The property was clean and welcoming. The host was very nice and easy to work with. The view is so relaxing, we spent most of our vacation outside by the fire and just admiring the view. My husband and I will most definitely be back.

Perfect getaway

My wife and I booked this property to get away from the city and enjoy a relaxing fall getaway. Joy's Chalet was perfect for what we were looking for. The chalet was clean and well set-up, the property is gorgeous and secluded. We would absolutely visit again.

Spent 3 nights here and had a wonderful time! It had everything we needed. The hot tub was the best part. There is a little bit of highway noise, but it wasn’t horrible. I would highly recommend visiting Harsh’s place if you’re looking for a getaway!

Lovely tranquil spot. Absolutely loved the chalet, stunning design. Lots of outdoor space for my grandchildren to play and explore and get reacquainted with the outdoors and nature. wonderful and memorable stay for all. Nice quiet place - well equipped

The cottage was nicely equipped and we enjoyed paddling through the tunnel into the larger lake and hiking at Foret Bowman (although finding the entrance wasn't easy so download maps before you go). The host was very responsive

It was too expensive for what it was, for the price the espace need some re design, new furtinure and the basement is terrible, the outside space need mantainance in general- I have paid the same price for more luxurious places

I am sorry that it was disappointing for you but I guess it was just a mismatch. Regarding, the basement. It was mentioned in the welcome book that the basement was not allowed any entry because it is our personal storage space.

Great place to stay at. Felt right at home! Getting to the cabin was a bit difficult since the address is on a small side road but they made a driveway off the main road to make it easier. It's written in the how to get here section of the listing but I still found it a bit confusing especially when pulling a trailer with nowhere to turn around. Otherwise, excellent, highly recommended!
