*Please remember this is our personal cabin and treat it like your home. *CHECK IN is at 4pm, CHECK OUT is at 11am. No early check in or late check out without early approval. Early check in or late check out greater than 1.5 hours will be $25 extra to allow for extra staff with housekeeping. *BEARS: Asheville has a lot of black bears in the area, including our neighborhood. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OR TRASH OUTSIDE, INCLUDING THE PORCH. LEAVE FOOD TRASH INSIDE THE HOME AT ALL TIMES. If you do use the outside trash can, make sure the SAFETY STRAP and it is SECURE AFTER EACH USE. *PETS: We allow dogs up to 50 lbs with prior approval. We cannot accommodate cats due to allergy issues. There is a $90 pet fee, with up to two pets max. $150 charge will be deducted from the security authorization if pets are brought into the cabin without approval. Please try to keep your dog off the furniture and use the provided sheets to cover the furniture. Pet owners are responsible for any damage. Pets must be treated with flea/tick meds prior to arrival. Any pet waste not disposed of will be charged $25. Pets should be on a leash as we live in bear country. We assume no responsibility for illness or injury to pets while on the premises. *HOT TUB: There are certain health risks associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. The hot is cleaned prior to your arrival. DO NOT SIT OR STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVER. COVER THE TOP AND REPLACE THE BLUE/GREY BALL WHEN IT’S NOT IN USE. KEEP THE TEMPERATURE AT 100 DEGREES. Never leave children unattended. No animals or glassware in the hot tub. Please be careful not to spill drinks or food in the hot tub otherwise there will be a charge to dump, refill and adjust chemicals. *SEPTIC: NOTHING other than toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet. *GARBAGE DISPOSAL: DO NOT put spaghetti noodles or large scraps of food in the disposal. It will clog the system. *DISHWASHER: Please rinse dishes before putting in dishwasher. Food scraps and grease will clog the dishwasher. *GRILL: Please turn off the gas at the tank, clean and cover the grill after use. *FIREPLACE: DO NOT TOUCH the logs. If they are moved it will create carbon monoxide and smoke. *MOUNTAIN CONDITIONS: We are 0.2 miles from a major road and there is a short (0.1 mile) steep section. AWD is recommended in Jan and February and necessary if it is snowing or there is freezing rain. You can also park at the bottom level area and walk up the incline. No refunds will be given for adverse weather or road conditions. *SMOKING: No smoking in the home. If the house smells of any kind of smoke, there will be a $500 charge for odor removal services. *DAMAGES: We understand accidents can happen but you are financially responsible for any damage done during your stay. Please do not take anything from the cabin. If you notice any damage or anything out of the ordinary, please contact us within 1 hour of your arrival. *PARTIES: No parties or guests outside of those who are registered. This rule is strictly enforced and your will be charged for any violations. *FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. Renter must be at least 25 years old. Maximum 6 guests. ID will be requested upon approval and reservation will be subject to cancellation if not received in a timely manner. *LIABILITY – We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities.
