This was paradise for the 7 of us! How often can you walk out the front door to one of the best beaches in the world? Everything about this place is amazing. Its a few steps to Mangos Beach Bar, and the village of Hopkins is so friendly. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks to Mirko for the great communication!

From the very moment we walked in we felt home. Just the breathtaking view from the door will make you fill on vacation in paradise. The house was clean, well kept and it has just about everything one needs. Mirko is unbelievably professional, respectful and his responses fast. This is one of the best places I have rented through AIrbnb and I have done that many times around the world. We learned about the real Belize, the local Belize away from the touristy feel one gets from resorts. Mirko you are a gem.

Great place. Beautiful views. Million dollar access to the sea and a great pool. The host was great, and got us a wonderful snorkeling trip to the cayes. Plenty of space for our whole family!

We stayed at this house for about a week. It was our first time in Belize. The house was amazing, Mirko the host was very helpful. Great location, private, safe, there are a handful of good restaurants in Hopkins. No complaints at all.... would stay there again and recommend to friends and family.

Windsong is a beautiful home. We loved having the pool and the beach only steps away. The kitchen had every appliance we needed and was well stocked. The home is spacious and beds were comfortable. We loved using the bikes and kayaks every day. The village is close, and we enjoyed biking to the village for coffee- but it is a good ride and I wouldn’t want to do it after dark. We had a rental car. We loved being just outside of the village, but if you want to walk to a lot of places, this may not be a good fit. Our host was very responsive and helpful. He can book just about any tour or service you would like- even massages at the house!

Very relaxing and private with a lovely pool and beach. It was perfect for us. However, I think it’s a bit far (and bumpy) to travel to town by golf cart.

Windsong is amazing! We loved Hopkins and getting to stay at this special house with a pool right on the ocean. Mirko helped us with a golf cart, transportation to/from Windsong and adventures while in Hopkins. We had a very special experience.

We have been coming to Belize for almost 25 years, because my father lives here, we know firsthand the difficulty of maintaining houses in the tropical environment. This house is completely immaculate, extremely well appointed, very comfortable and has everything you need the property is so well-maintained, beautiful, hibiscus and ginger plants, amazing swimming out front, great pool. we cooked a lot of meals in the kitchen and also had a few out, enjoyed very short walk to mangoes Beach bar. We’d love the kayaks. We cannot wait to come back and we can’t recommend this place highly enough thank you so much Mirko and the team at Windsong. You all rock.

We had a great family vacation at windsong. The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. Location is great with the beach right in front of house and a beach bar two houses down that you can walk to which is great for drinks after a long day. We loved riding the bikes that were provided as well. Many great restaurants in Hopkins and a ton of activities to do. Pool is great at the house and upstairs rooftop is great for watching the sunset. Host is very friendly and helpful. We would love to return again one day!

Getting around

Use of bikes is included with the villa, which are a great way to explore Hopkins Village. Renting a car will allow you to explore Southern Belize at your own pace and schedule. The villa is located to the south of the village, about 2.5 miles. The resort area, with lots of great restaurants, bars, and the gym is about 1.5 miles away. Sittee River Marina and Curve bar are about a half mile, and Mango's Beachfront Restaurant is about three doors up the beach! If you don't have a car you can rent our golf cart, call a taxi, or ride the bikes.
