One of the first homes in Wilmore, built by the town founder’s daughter and her husband, the Patterson House is a turn of the century foursquare with four bedrooms upstairs and one of the first working bathrooms for that time. Downstairs is a foyer with baby grand piano, comfortable livingroom with gas fireplace, a classic dining room with chandelier, period kitchen (to a degree), and a backroom with an exercise area, Murphy bed and laundry that overlooks the lush backyard and into the seminary park. Enjoy the firepit in the back and relax in the evenings to the sounds of crickets and frogs enjoying the stream running through the park.

I currently live in Colorado Springs with my husband and Pomeranian. I lived in Wilmore from 1992-1999 and then again in 2010-2013 when I was going to UK and taught ROTC at Asbury. My family has lived in Wilmore since the early 1900s and we love this area!!!

Getting around

Recommend scheduling Uber if you do not get a rental. This is a small town and Lexington (20 miles away) has Uber, but they don't come to Wilmore unless requested.

Check In: 3PM - Flexible

After confirmation, you will be emailed a Welcome booklet with information about the house and important information. Day of check-in, you will receive a code to enter the house.

Check Out: 12PM

No pets

No cats allowed due to owner allergies. Service animals must be trained and not leave messes in the house. The backyard is not fenced, so you will need to bring your own lead for them to be outside.

Minimum age limit for renters: 25

I do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.

Treat this house with respect, please, as it's an historic house. Coasters must be used if placing drinks on furniture; otherwise, it’s a $500 damage charge.
