I will definitely stay here again when I come back to NY. The place was very clean and renovated. The very nice, clean and modern toaster oven, dual hot plates, microwave, and toaster allow you to not even notice the kitchen doesn’t have an oven. All of the furniture and the beds were very clean and comfortable. This place had all of the amenities you will need: shampoo/conditioner, body wash, lotion, Q-tips, cotton rounds, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, multiple hair dryers, multiple clothes irons, ironing board, umbrellas, phone chargers, dish towels/wash clothes, and more. Also, you have your own thermostat to be able to temperature control your unit in the basement separate from upstairs. Self check-in was very, very easy. Just note the stairs to get down to the garden level unit are very steep (the first step down is about a 2 foot drop). For those who have any mobility issues this may be a point of concern. I would give this stay 6 out of 5 stars if I could!

The host is friendly, responds quickly, and the place was spotless. However, the bedrooms have no windows and there is only one usable egress in the whole place. The standalone a/c unit is very noisy and doesn't adequately cool the bedrooms. Overall, there is little to no air circulation.

it was a good stay. No complaints from my end. The bedframe was broken before we got there, and they gave me plenty notice that someone would be on site to install a new one before we got in. Happy stay.

My husband and I purchased our Brooklyn townhouse in to care for my mother-in-law with early-onset Alzheimer's; she also lives here with us. We started the Airbnb to help pay the mortgage and give visitors a place to stay. We take enormous pride in our home that we renovated on our own and really love it here. We also have 2 wonderful tiny chihuahua.

House Rules:

-Check in is 3pm, check out 11am. the lockbox does not work before or after those hours so please take notice. Checkout past 11am our cleaners charge a late fee, which unfortunately we have to pass on to the guest.
-Please no shoes on the carpet. It's best if shoes are left near the door to avoid accidental messes (we don't wear shoes in our home as well)
-No smoking(tobacco, marijuana, etc.) anywhere on the property
-Turn off all lights, electronics, and the A/C unit when not in use, and when not in the unit.
-No parties or unregistered guests. Maximum 2 guests
-No access to the backyard.
-Please do not try to open the locked doors, they are the house's utilities and storage.
-We may need to enter the rental unit to access utilities in case of an issue; we will contact you first.
-Please do not move the furniture or the furnishings around the apartment. Some things are delicate or need to be in a certain location for a reason.
-We charge a very low cleaning fee as a courtesy to our guests. That being said if there is any additional damage or cleaning that needs to be done, we will have to charge that guest extra. This includes makeup stains on towels, linens, rugs, furniture, etc. This is how we are able to offer such a low cleaning fee and only increase that when necessary. Thank you for understanding.
-Linens stained beyond residential cleaning methods will be charged for professional dry cleaning or replacement.
