You want to experience mountain life in the truest fashion? This is it! This cabin offers all the convenience to local attractions but is situated on over 2 acres. Sit and listen to the babbling creek that runs through the backyard or relax in the hot tub. For family fun, play volleyball, corn hole, giant connect four, or enjoy the 60-n-1 arcade game. Wildlife frequents the area and Snow White would be proud. This home is a rustic historic cabin built by the famous locals Ma and Pa Teaster after they were kicked out of Elkmont, which we highly suggest visiting. The story can be found in the book Last Train to Elkmont. They built this cabin on several acres and raised their family and farm. Many of their relatives and Parton relatives live in the area still today. The fireplace was build by another local historic figure, General Ogle. We love to travel. We are super pet friendly. We have 2 huskies ourselves and it is always. hard to find places to allow them. On one of our adventures we came to visit the Smoky Mountains and fell in love. We have since purchased a few cabins. We do love themes and history so we tend to let our cabins tell a story.
