This countryside escape has a secluded and serene Up North feel, yet only a 10-15 min drive to shopping & restaurants in the City of Cadillac and only 1.5 miles away from the General Store which has almost everything you could need including delicious pizza, ice cream, alcohol & daily meal deals.
Please Note: Our Cabin is located off a dirt road so if this doesn’t bother you keep reading….The property is surrounded by White Pines and perched upon 65 feet of lakefront sandy bottom access. Across the lake sits a township park, complete with a campground, hiking trails and sand dunes. There is also a 9-hole volunteer-created disc golf course.
Location is well suited as a launch to many popular Michigan tourist destinations including Traverse City/Interlochen, Frankfort, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Big Manistee River & the Ski/ Golf Resorts of Caberfae Peaks and Crystal Mountain.
This is a Family-Friendly Cabin. It is not high-end; however, it is lovingly cared for by the owners who use it often and take great pride in making it a fun and cozy place to make memories. It is 2000 square feet and features 2 FULL bathrooms.
Sleeping:
Sleeping Quarters include a Master Bedroom with gorgeous lakefront views (King & Single Bed Loft). The second bedroom (Queen) is tucked away and allows privacy and a bathroom nearby. The third bedroom (Bunkhouse) is the perfect spot to send the kids. Located on the lower level with its own living area, this sleeping area features two sets of bunk beds (Full/Full & Twin/Twin). There are also sleeper sofas (great room/ lower living) twin futon in the laundry room, foldaway twin cot and pack & play.
The open floor plan on the main level allows for lakefront views and interaction amongst guests in the kitchen, dining and great room areas. The great room features a wood burning stove, a large LED wall mounted Fire Feature & Smart TV.
Wifi/TV: High speed internet for remote work. Smart TV with streaming options
however you will need to use your own subscriptions for certain applications enabled through guest mode on the Roku TV. The TV also gets approximately 16 channels via antenna and there is a DVD player with many movie options to choose from. Many board games & crafty accessories are provided.
Workspace: Desk with lake views in Master Bedroom.
Kitchen: Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and tableware for your stay. There is a common pantry and spice basket. You are welcome to use any staples in the cabinets or condiments in the refrigerator if they are available, but we cant guarantee anything will be there for certain. It all depends on what people use and what people leave.
Laundry Room: Washer/Dryer.
Linens/Towels provided.
Garage/Basement: Owners private storage areas and not included in the rental.
Shed: Open & available to use. Here you will find outdoor games, disc golf sets, campfire sticks, fishing poles etc..

Heating/Cooling:
The house has A/C in the master bedroom and Queen Bedroom. Tree cover, lake breezes and fans keep the rest of the house cool in the summer.
The house has two furnaces, a wood burning stove and a propane stove.
Backyard Amenities: Firepit, Dining Area, Pedal Boat, Kayaks (x3 Adult, x3 Youth), SUPs (x2), Tetherball, Corn Hole, fishing poles etc..
Seasonal Notes:
The dock is removed Oct-April. Please inquire if booking during a transition period. Life Jackets Provided.
Snow Removal: Removal service is triggered after an event causing more than 4 accumulation since last removal. There will be occasions where there may be a few inches of snow on the driveway and walkway. A snow shovel and rock salt is provided.
Please Note: There is an additional charge of $10 per night/Guest >6 guests to account for extra cleaning/laundry/septic charges.
You will be communicating directly with the Property Owner and not a management company.

2. Agree to read Information Guide which will be sent upon booking confirmation.
3. NO PARTIES/EVENTS! Be respectful of our cabin.
ABSOLUTELY NO NON-REGISTERED house or lake guests without prior approval. Treat it as you would treat your own home and respect the neighbors.
4. Wifi: High speed wireless internet is provided as a convenience only and is not integral to the agreement. No refunds shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, speed, access problems, lack knowledge of use or personal preference with regard to internet service. No illegal or excessive downloading/uploading.
5. Understand that the toilet is on a septic system. Do not throw anything into the toilet other than toilet paper. Plumbing service calls for failure to comply will be charged to the guest.
6. Must be at least 25 years old to book.
7. No smoking inside cabin. No illegal activity or drug use on premises.
8. No pets allowed.
9. Use of woodburning stove & propane stove must be requested. For safety reasons, only those individuals who are trained and knowledgable on the use of these types of stoves will be permitted to use them.
10. You must provide your own firewood.
11. Check in time is 4 pm. Check out time is 11 am. Alterations can be made via special requests. Must follow departure instructions.
12. Trash Day is Monday. Please bring bin to curb Sunday night or by 8 am Monday morning.
13. Renter agrees to return property in the same condition in which it was rented.
14.Owner's Motor Boat, Basement and Garage is off limits.
15. No confetti (or pinatas), No Fireworks
16. Renter assumes sole responsibility for the safety all of guests under this reservation. This includes an all encompassing umbrella for use of all indoor/outdoor space. (ex indoor: wood burning stove, stairs etc.., outdoor activities and equipment ex kayaks, swimming etc..). The renter indemnifies the owners against all loss, damage, expense & penalty on account of personal injury or property damage to the renters.
Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in forfeiture of the security deposit.
*Please Note: There is one security camera on the property to monitor the front door.
****Please report any immediate issues to the host within 2 hours of check-in for resolution. It shall be understood that accommodations are sufficient for the duration of the stay should the host fail to hear of any issues during the 2 hour check-in inspection period.
