Welcome to our Guest Suite located on the edge of the Alaskan wilderness! Unwind in the hot tub, recharge in the spacious living room, and drift off to sleep in the luxurious king bed while enjoying breathtaking views.

Immerse yourself in nature as you gaze upon the mountain views outside your window. Keep your eyes peeled for incredible Alaskan wildlife sightings and, if you're lucky, the northern lights dancing against the mountain backdrop.

Guests will stay in a Private Guest Suite with a separate entrance. Areas include a King bedroom, Queen bedroom*, private bathroom, outdoor hot tub, large living room, scenic deck, patio, breakfast area, bar/ kitchenette, and driveway parking spot. Hot tub was not set to optimal temperature , so we sat in a cold hot tub until we realized it’s not getting hot. Took until this morning to get to the temperature it should have already been set at prior to arrival because we booked this Airbnb mainly because of the hot tub.

Response:We have a temperature sensor in the hot tub that records the temperature. One of his guests lowered the set temperature on the first day they were there and then complained about it on day two. This guest is just trying to get a refund.

We had a great time! This location is a perfect escape from the city, while still not being too far away to enjoy the scenery, downtown parks, shops, etc. The hot tub was such a nice touch and was very relaxing! We enjoyed every second of our stay and would definitely book again if we find ourselves back in Anchorage one day.

We loved our stay at with the Edge of the Wild, the space was so comfortable and well finished. Wonderful bathroom and walk-in shower with a double sink, a great kitchenette, a great hot tub with a peaceful view of the Alaskan woods. The home is in a quiet and nice neighborhood, easy to find and check-in was easy with the keypad programmed to our phone number. All linens, towels, and bedding was clean and the home is so organized, a perfect spot to stay with plenty of space to spread out. We’ll be looking to stay again the next time we’re in town!
