A long flight of steps through the garden leads up to the house; therefore, it is not suitable for people

Almunecar is an ancient city, three thousand years old, built by the Phoenicians, who were followed by the Romans, Visigoths, Arabs and finally the Spanish. There are many historical sites throughout the city.

Unlike most cities on the southern coast, Almunecar is
inhabited mostly by Spaniards who live and work in the town, frequent the bars
and restaurants. It is a normal provincial town. As a result, the bars and restaurants are open and busy all year round.

The mountains around Almunecar from the hinterland extend to the coast, falling steeply into the turquoise sea. Along the coast are cliques and charming little beaches.
There are endless possibilities for those who want to picnic, walk, swim, surrounded by beautiful nature, mountains, sun and sea.

The hinterland also allows for many outdoor activities. Longer or shorter walks
in mountainous territory similar to the Grand Canyon, discovering small mountain villages with their particular life, shepherds, savoring wine and various local products, eating an
authentic Andalusian meal in a friendly mountain restaurant. Or bathe in torrents, perhaps diving from a 10 m high slope!
