Green Cove Getaway is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that The Sea Ranch has to offer. As one of the earlier properties built at The Sea Ranch you'll enjoy the architectural details and cabin-like feel of our comfortable family retreat. Loved for many years by our family and guests - we hope you'll love it too.

Green Cove Getaway is a cozy house with lots of original features and decor still in place - with some upgrades to help make your stay more comfortable! We offer high speed internet/Wifi, a flat-screen smart TV and old school video games, a DVD player with dozens of movies to choose from, comfortable beds for up to 6 people, a wood-burning fireplace, a small fenced backyard, two small decks, puzzles & games for the whole family, a dart board, cornhole, beach chairs, beach toys, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and most important - an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean!! If you are lucky, you might just catch the whales pass by as you enjoy a cup of coffee upstairs or a glass of wine in one of our Adirondack chairs on the deck.

Nearby trails, seal rookery, tide pools, beaches and fishing spots all await you within minutes. Tennis courts, 3 swimming pools, saunas and more are also available for your enjoyment when you stay at Green Cove Getaway.

Nature abounds here!! Watch for deer, hawks, eagles, fox, raccoon, bobcat, seals, and whales all from the comfort of our home.

The Sea Ranch is a lovely place to have a romantic getaway or enjoy some quality family time without all the usual distractions. Our home is great for reconnecting and recharging, but we kindly ask that you choose another location for parties of any kind or other loud activities.

Please note that all short term rentals at the Sea Ranch require that you follow association guidelines as well as Sonoma County Vacation Rental Standards including respecting Quiet Hours (9 pm - 7 am daily), no drones, no smoking on TSRA property, reducing nighttime lighting and keeping dogs leashed. Outdoor amplified sound is not allowed at any time.

I'm the granddaughter of Glenda & Richard who purchased this amazing lot and had this house built in 1969/1970. It was the only house in the middle of an open field - with unobstructed views as far as the eye could see. Things have changed over the years, but this place is as special as ever to me and my family. I've been visiting this amazing spot since before I was born and I have so many wonderful memories. I'm excited for you and your family to make memories here too!
My favorite things to do at The Sea Ranch are - whale watching, long walks with the dogs, going to the beach, doing puzzles, eating baked goods at Two Fish Bakery and spending quality time with my family.

We have free, designated off-street parking for 2 vehicles. We do not currently have EV charging - but please check with The Sea Ranch Lodge for availability and cost for their chargers.

The key will be in a lock box at the property - we will provide you the code approximately 24 hours before your arrival.

Our check in times are very flexible based on availability of the property. We are more than happy to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs whenever possible. Please ask!

House Rules

No smoking of any kind.
No additional guests.
Please turn off heaters when you leave the house.
Please be mindful of our septic system - flush only human waste and toilet paper, do not dispose of grease down the sink, avoid excessive water usage.
Be sure to display the hang tag on your vehicle when parking on Sea Ranch roads, lots, etc.

The Sea Ranch Association Rules and Regulations

Quiet Hours
I. The Sea Ranch Quiet Hours are between 9 pm and 7am daily. Please
conduct your indoor and outdoor activities in a prudent and respectful
manner that will not disturb your neighbors, especially during quiet
hours. Maximum quiet hours decibels is 55dBA, about equal to a
conversation from 3 feet away.
No Drone Zone
II. The entirety of The Sea Ranch is a No Drone Zone including private lots
and yards. Please leave your drones at home.

Smoking Etiquette
III. As a matter of fire safety and public health, smoking of any material by
any means is prohibited on all TSRA-owned property, including common
areas, roads, trails and facilities. At private homes, please take care
not to allow secondhand smoke, vapor or odor to disturb others on
neighboring properties or Commons.

Reduce Nighttime Lighting
IV. The Sea Ranch prizes and protects its coastal natural night sky.Excessive
nighttime lighting can become a nuisance. To reduce transmission of
inside light (including light from television and computer screens) to the
outside, please shield light sources and/or close blinds, shades, or
curtains as appropriate. Turn off exterior lighting when not using the
illuminated area.

Keep Dogs Leashed
V. To protect wildlife and avoid nuisances, all dogs must be under the
owner’s control at all times, and leashed when on any TSRA-owned
property, including common areas, roads, trails and facilities. Please
minimize barking or howling, and always clean up after your dog.

Monetary penalties for violating TSRA Rule 6.6 range from $250 - $500 for a
first violation to $1,000 - $2,000 for the third. Please be mindful that multiple
or consecutive violations and penalties can occur in a single 24-hour period
when an initial violation remains uncorrected.
Leasees are responsible for any fines assessed.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellation fee if cancelled 30 or more days prior to your reservation.
$50 fee for cancellations between 30 days and 14 days.
One night rental charged for cancellations within 14 days.
