Welcome to Casa Mila! A newly restored mid-mod 1958 Alexander that was designed by renowned architects Krisel & Palmer. A gated and private desert retreat in the heart of Palm Springs. Retro cool and with attention to detail, Casa Mila is spacious with an open concept that is perfect for gatherings. Situated in the quintessential mid-century modern neighborhood of Sunrise Park and historic Enchanted Homes tract, Casa Mila is conveniently located in the center of Palm Springs, between the airport and downtown. 3 minutes away (1.6 miles) from the compact hub of eclectic shops, art galleries, restaurants, and bars of lively Downtown Palm Springs.
Casa Mila has the feel of a mini compound with privacy hedges enveloping the desert landscaped grounds. Thoughtfully updated, the iconic property has a contemporary open layout, while retaining period mid-century details such as beamed vaulted tongue and groove ceilings and a classic signature brick fireplace. Vibrant high-end furniture and art depict cool, classic Palm Springs vibes, while being comfortable enough to feel right at home.
The modern and fully-stocked kitchen anchors the public spaces and is situated adjacent to the expanded family room offering open light-filled space for dining and multiple lounging areas with seamless access to the generous terrace, pool, spa, desert garden, grass lawn, and western mountain views.
The spacious backyard features an extra large pool, heated spa, along with several areas to relax, play, eat and gather. Cushioned pool loungers and umbrellas provide shaded or sunny poolside relaxation. An outdoor living area, Modfire fire pit with seating, bistro seats, dining area and Weber BBQ grill offer additional places to hang-out, grill, read, and play board games, corn hole, giant Jenga, or croquet.
Each bedroom features clean high-quality white bedding and pillows, closets with plenty of storage, iconic photos and artwork, charging ports, ample lighting and fans for maximum restorative sleep. Two updated bathrooms with walk-in rainfall showers and handheld, plush designer towels, soft white bathrobes, and vegan cruelty-free toiletries.

We welcome well-behaved dogs, but must have prior approval of the host (breed and age) and a fee of $125 per dog, with a maximum of 2 dogs before booking. Guest must also agree to and sign house rules for dogs.
Optional pool heat is available at an additional cost. Please inquire about current rate. This is recommended October through May. The large pool can be heated to 85 degrees prior to your arrival with advanced notice. Spa heating (24/7) is already included in your reservation at no extra charge.
A short-term rental agreement and an additional written contract, required by the City of Palm Springs, will be sent to you shortly after booking with Airbnb. Palm Springs City Vacation Rental Ordinance states that the minimum age of a rental is 25. You will be asked to supply a scanned image of your ID prior to approving reservation, a guest roster for each reservation, car license plates, and that each guest signs a statement of the rules and regulations via DocuSign prior to arrival (5 days before check-in) otherwise listing will be cancelled.
If any rules in the rental agreement or ordinance are broken (i.e., maximum occupancy, noise ordinance, hosting party, pets that are not approved by host, etc.), it will result in immediate eviction, no refund, and guest agrees to pay the host $350.
Driveway parking and/or free overnight street parking in front (3 cars maximum).
No access or parking of cars in the garage.
