Welcome to the brand new Fox Den cabin. Built for luxury and serenity, this property invites you to a getaway with beautiful views and cozy comforts. Relax in the hot tub while the leaves softly rustle in the breeze. Cuddle up on the couch in front of the fire, taking the sunset out of the picture windows. Drink your morning coffee on the private balcony, catching glimpses of the birds, squirrels, and deer frolicking in the woods.

This cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs, a half bath, and a queen sleeper sofa downstairs, suitable for a maximum of 6 guests.

Just .1 mile from the Shenandoah River Outfitters and about 15 minutes from Luray Caverns, this property is close to plenty of things to do in the Luray area.

PLEASE NOTE: The optional firewood charge of $15/night is for firewood for the outdoor fire pit. (The indoor fireplace at this property is gas.) Please let us know if you dont think you will use the firewood or would like to bring your own! We are more than happy to refund that to you.

Fox Den does not allow parties, events, or gatherings of guests not included in the reservation.

The base rate includes 2 people. Additional guests are extra $35 per person per night, please read the itemized charges carefully and make sure to make your reservation for the correct number of guests that will be staying. Thank you!

Pet Fee: $85 per dog ( max 2 dogs) - No cats, sorry!

Smart TVs

Please take your trash with you. There is dumpster access at the Shenandoah River Outfitters (less than a mile from the property). The house manager can take them for a tip of $5 per bag, if you would prefer.

Great Cabin!

The Fox Den is the perfect getaway. The location is excellent, with outstanding views. The cabin and all amenities are five stars. It was fresh, clean, and well-equipped. A great place to get away. Shenandoah Rentals was also very professional, had great communication, and was courteous.

Clean, private, very communicative

The Fox Den was everything we were looking for. Booking was easy and the host was extremely communicative. I never had any questions on who to call if there was a problem or what the procedure was to get in. Once we got there the cabin was very private. Everything was immaculately clean. We had a brief problem with the Wi-Fi and we’re able to get an immediate response from the manager of the property. Everything seemed brand new. We would totally stay again if we are back in the area.

Relaxing winter getaway with beautiful views!

My husband and I stayed at Fox Den for a weekend getaway. We loved being on the mountain and being able to see the river, even while in the hot tub! Upstairs in the main bedroom had a beautiful porch that over looked the river and at night we could see the stars! We had a fire each evening in the fire pit. The cabin itself was perfect. Very open, nice gas fireplace, full kitchen, laundry room, basically everything you need. The location of the cabin was perfect because we were so close to Skyline Drive and was able to do some hiking during the day and also visit Luray Caverns.. An overall great trip, not one complaint. We plan on booking again soon and bring our 4 kids with us!!

Great Weekend Getaway

We loved our weekend at Fox Den!
It was the perfect location and had all the amenities you need!
The cabin was very clean and organized.
We enjoy the fire pit both evenings. The weather was perfect.
We have been coming to Luray for six years during the Fall and we all agreed that Fox Den

Overall Great

The home was very nice and the perfect location for our trip plans! Everything was as described. We would book this place again knowing that that we need to buy PLENTY of water to brush our teeth, drink, and clean out dishes. The water from the sinks all smelled like hard boiled eggs for the first few minutes of turning the water on. Also, do not assume there is any reliable wifi (was perfect since we were there to unplug). We couldn't access the smart TV since the wifi was too slow.

Great place, well worth the value

The property is very new and kept in great condition. The place is as advertised, however, the bedrooms were slightly smaller than expected (still more than large enough). The views of the river are great and the outdoor space is perfect. The kitchen has all you need and has a washer/dryer unit onsite. The wi-fi was spotty, but we were there to get away so we didn't mind it. Overall, great location and well worth the drive. We would definitely stay again!

Just what we needed!!!!

We were so excited for the stay we left early the day of our trip. We toured the town and grabbed some stuff from Walmart. It was a beautiful drive from town to the Cabin which was so easy to find. When we walked in we were blown away. Everything was spotless and the view was amazing. That night it snowed 7in. Imagine sitting in a hot tub watching it snow. By lunch time all the roads including the ones around the cabin had been cleared. They know what they are doing for sure. We walked down to the river, sled with our puppy and just relaxed. Sunday came way to fast. We will be returning this summer with friends. Thank you all so much for the wonderful experience.

Weekend Cabin Stay in Luray

My fiancée, her parents, and I really enjoyed the location of the cabin especially its proximity to the river. It's also just a 15 minute drive into Luray. I believe it was was recently built so everything feels really new and not at all dated. We also enjoyed the amenities including the hot tub and fire pit (firewood included). Our only issue was that both of the beds were uncomfortable. It was difficult to fall asleep and when we woke up in the morning we were feeling sore.

All in all a great weekend stay just wish the beds were more comfortable.

Nice small cabin

Newer cabin built in last year. On top of the hill. Overall was a nice stay. Clear view of the sky from balcony. Also had slight view of the river. Short5 minute walk to the river. No complaints.

Beautiful cabin

We had a very nice and relaxing stay at this cabin. Would stay there again. Very clean, secluded and welcoming. Not to far from town and things to do. Wish there was a clearer view of the river, but you could still hear it which was nice. Beds are very firm and pull out sofa mattress definitely needs replaced.

Easy, breezy beautiful new cabin!

Loved this clean and spacious cabin! Secluded enough and had everything we could need for a girl’s weekend getaway. The hosts were very responsive and all instructions relating to the stay were explicitly stated and listed out. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!!
