Located steps from a beach access, you can enjoy incredible ocean views and breathtaking sunrises from the front deck while sipping your coffee. Take a few steps and leave your footprints in the sand while enjoying the beautiful shore and waves. Located close to all the OBX attractions, Footprints in the Sand is the perfect home for you and your family.

The place was beautiful. Had everything you needed except an elevator, lol. Girls weekend was the best, great views of the ocean and very close to shopping and restaurants. Also enjoyed cooking in the kitchen with everything you needed

Can’t say enough good things about this beach house! Shawn & Jennifer provided us with all the essentials to get started. Coffee,tea,cream,soap,shampoo,laundry detergent even the kids essentials packNplay and 2 high chairs. The list goes on. They provided all beach gear towels,chairs,umbrellas and even toys! Pool was heated and perfect for our family. We highly recommend this listing. You may pay a little more but the benefits are worth it. Location was perfect for the beach. A little beach bar with good food a few steps away. Grocery store and shopping within minutes. Communication with Shawn was excellent. The house was clean from top to bottom. We spent a wonderful vacation at what our family calls “Holiday House”! The ten of us enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, close proximity of the pristine beach, putting games on the green, beautiful and clean bedrooms all with private bathrooms! Everything was provided for us…beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels even coffee pods! This made it easy for us since we flew! Shawn and Jennifer were very good communicators! “Footprints in the sand” was a lovely place to enjoy a happy family vacation! We enjoyed the close proximity of Goombays restaurant, The Jolly Rogers for breakfast, Duck donuts, Rundown Cafe, and High Cotton Barbecue! All with delicious food and quick friendly service!

We can't rave enough about our stay at Shawn and Jennifer's house. The house was immaculate and had every amenity you could imagine. Having the bed linens, towels for the bath and beach, beach chairs and umbrellas provided made this the least stressful and easiest vacation we have ever had. The pool and hot tub were the perfect size and great to have when wanting a break from the beach (or when we had occasional showers). The location to the beach was wonderful. When they say it is a 45 second walk to the beach they mean it! We had a special need for a family and Shawn helped us take care of all accommodations needed before we arrived. We rent a house each summer in the Outer Banks and this was our favorite one yet! 5 stars and highly recommend!

My family and I so enjoyed our stay at Shawn and Jennifer’s house. Check in was an absolute breeze. Upon entering the home, we quickly learned that we had everything and beyond of what we needed. Literally everything. All we really needed to bring was our clothes, and I feel like we lived in bathing suits most of the day. They had everything for the pool/hot tub, and also everything for the beach, including kids toys and boogie boards. Shawn and Jennifer answered every question that I had in a timely fashion, almost minutes after I sent a message to them. The view of the ocean was priceless along with the memories that we made as a family.We would certainly come back and stay at their home and highly recommend to anyone who wants to travel to OBX. Thank you both again!

We truly enjoyed our vacation at Footprints in the Sand! Every detail has been thought of and provided. The location was ideal and we enjoyed both porches with views of the ocean. The pool and the putting green were a perfect addition and luxury that we used everyday. The kitchen and family room was a wonderful place to gather all together. Getting ready to go out was made so much easier with each bedroom having its own private bathroom. Shawn and Jennifer were easy to communicate with and addressed any questions we had in a timely manner! We would absolutely stay here again!

This place was perfect! The house was amazing - very clean, great location, and had everything we needed and more! The kitchen was very large and fully stocked (even coffee, creamer and sugar!). The living area was wide open which was perfect for spreading out but also being together. The beach was really steps away with a lifeguard post and wash off area (easily walkable for grandparents and a 2 year old). The backyard had a great layout with the pool and putting green - again, plenty of room to spread out but still be together. The house was very clean with plenty of towels and even soap and shampoo. Shawn And Jennifer were very responsive and recommended fantastic restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!!

We find the En Suites perfect for families as well and it makes it a breeze to take showers. Shawn and I really to try to think of all the things to make our guests feel at home and we strive to make our home the perfect vacation spot to make lasting memories!! This place was perfect! The house was amazing - very clean, great location, and had everything we needed and more! The kitchen was very large and fully stocked (even coffee, creamer and sugar!). The living area was wide open which was perfect for spreading out but also being together. The beach was really steps away with a lifeguard post and wash off area (easily walkable for grandparents and a 2 year old). The backyard had a great layout with the pool and putting green - again, plenty of room to spread out but still be together. The house was very clean with plenty of towels and even soap and shampoo. Shawn And Jennifer were very responsive and recommended fantastic restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!!
