What an amazing experience! The house was great, better than we expected. Christine was an amazing host! She checked in with us often throughout our stay. The home was well stocked with everything we needed. We had a difficult check in process(issues with flights on our end not the host) and Christine was very helpful and made every effort to make it as easy as possible for us. Would recommend to anyone who wants a nice relaxing weekend(or week) away! Thank you so much!

The Emerald Cabin was perfect for our three-generation family! Stunning setting, with easy access to Pollock Pines/Placerville, local vineyards and a day trip to Tahoe. The cabin is spacious and clean, with a well stocked kitchen and games for the grandkids. They loved the slack line and foosball, and all of us enjoyed several visits to the Sly Park area. The house and all amenities were wonderful. We were tickled with the S'mores makings that came with the house. The grandkids had a blast toasting marshmallows in the fire pit. A perfect way to end our family get together day. We are very in to cooking when we gather. The kitchen is very well appointed. Everything we needed to cook scrumptious full course meals was available. And the beds were so comfortable.

My family and I absolutely love Christine’s place! It has the “cabin” feel to it but very modern. Very relaxing vibe. The way the house was furnished is amazing. I love the bedrooms. The home is exactly how it looks like in the pictures with lots of space to move around for a group of 8 people. It was easy to find. My nephew loves to run around the house and he loves the backyard as well. Plenty of stuff kids can do. My parents love the tranquility and the trees around us. You don’t really need to ask for anything else as she has everything provided for. Safeway is like 5 mins away. Target, Walmart, and I think Taco Bell and McDonalds etc are abt 30 mins away. We only needed Safeway to buy what we need to make our own food. We love your place, Christine, and you are very welcoming and open for any questions we had. Your guide was very informative and helpful. Thank you so much for hosting us! We would love to stay again and explore more of area. It was a home away from home. 💕

The guidebook she has created listed with restaurants, attractions, activities, and general helpful information about the house was a very nice touch. The house is gorgeous and has everything you’ll need for a getaway. The house is very clean and spacious. Open floor plan made it ideal for family gatherings. Kitchen equipped with wide array of spices. Fire pit and bbq area well maintained and inviting. Bedrooms/bathrooms clean and updated. Located 4 min from Safeway.

We had a great stay at Christine's place! We were 2 families with 2 big kids and 2 toddlers. We enjoyed the welcome treats upon arrival (thank you!), the fireplace inside and the firepit outside for roasting s'mores and had plenty of room to spread out. The kids really enjoyed the board games and foosball table. Christine was awesome at communicating with us before and during our stay. We followed several of her recommendations which included a fun sno-park for the kids to enjoy the snow, the nearby apple orchards and eateries nearby. Overall, it was a great homebase for exploring the area and taking the kids to the snow!

We can accommodate a group of up to 10 people, but our vacation rental permit is limited to 6 guests aged 6+. Children aged 5 or younger are not counted toward the maximum occupancy limit.

*Our driveway attaches to our neighbor’s driveway in a U-shape. Drive or walk up/down the driveway from our address only. Do not use our neighbors driveway or block their driveway. *Maximum occupancy: 8 guests age 6+ *Per El Dorado County Ordinance No. 5135: • Guests aged 18+ are required to provide their full name, address, and contact details • No parties, excessive noise, or events. The county can fine guests for violating quiet hours or for being excessively, unnecessarily, or unusually loud any time of the day or night. If a violation occurs with the county, guests may be evicted in addition to the fine with no refund. *Other considerations: • Septic System Guidelines - do not drain food debris, cooking oil, grease or fats, coffee grounds, checmicals or solvents. Flush only toilet paper and natural waste. Use trash cans for even "flushable" hygiene product. • Wildlife - carefully control odors associated with food. Refundable Damage Deposit
The Security Deposit is for the faithful performance of the Guest under the terms and conditions of the Short Term Rental Agreement. The Security Deposit shall be returned to the Guest within the State's requirements after the end of the Rent Term less any itemized deductions.

The Guest shall maintain the Premises in the same condition as presented during arrival, and use the Premises only in a careful and lawful manner. The Guest shall leave the Premises in a ready to rent condition at the expiration of the Short Term Rental period, defined by the Host as being immediately habitable by the next Guest after a cleaning turnover. The Guest shall pay for cleaning, maintenance and/or repairs should the Premises be left in a lesser condition. The Guest agrees that the Host shall deduct costs of said services from any Security Deposit prior to a refund if Guest causes damage to the Premises or its furnishings.

We had a great stay at Christine's place! We were 2 families with 2 big kids and 2 toddlers. We enjoyed the welcome treats upon arrival (thank you!), the fireplace inside and the firepit outside for roasting s'mores and had plenty of room to spread out. The kids really enjoyed the board games and foosball table. Christine was awesome at communicating with us before and during our stay. We followed several of her recommendations which included a fun sno-park for the kids to enjoy the snow, the nearby apple orchards and eateries nearby. Overall, it was a great homebase for exploring the area and taking the kids to the snow!
