Finekettle House - Huddleston

Finekettle renters must be over 30 years old.

In addition to our no smoking and no events/party rules, we ask all our guests to agree to the following:

All household trash must be removed from each room of the house and placed in the exterior waste bins outside of the garage. Please only place bagged and tied rubbish in outdoor trashcans to keep pests as bay. Please do not block the bins with your car so our trash collectors can access them during your stay. Leaving trash in the house on departure will result in a fee which will be passed to our cleaner. Thanks!

No portable firepits are allowed anywhere on the property.

Please be respectful of our neighbours regarding noise levels outdoors in the evening hours as sound travels easily across the lake.

Please report any accidental damages or stains to our cleaning team so they can be dealt with as soon as possible.

Your booking is applies to the number of guests in your original reservation exclusively.

Please keep the property and all furnishings in good order.

We ask our guests to use coasters with their drinks, which are furnished throughout the house, to protect the finish of the furniture.

Only use appliances for their intended uses

While linens and bath towels are included, we suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the house.

We ask all our guests to maintain the cleanliness of Finekettle during their occupancy & to leave our home clean and in good condition upon departure. Before departing, please wipe off kitchen counters and stove, make sure dishes are washed and put away, clean the grill if you have used it, remove all opened food items and wipe out refrigerators. Our cleaning fee for a grill left untidy is $50, which will be withheld from your deposit and passed on to our cleaner if you fail to clean it.

Our boatlift is not available for guest use. Please use cleats on the dock to secure boat.

Please place kayaks back in the dock storage racks, and return SUP and all paddles to the boathouse and ensure it is locked on departure.

The property is on a well and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. These systems are very dependent on your proper use. Place nothing down the drains (grease, etc) except liquids. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages.

Guests must hold valid travel insurance to cover them and their party for the duration of their trip, including coverage for unexpected cancellations, and must use this insurance to recoup any non-refundable payments if their circumstances change in such a way that they are unwilling or unable to travel, and they wish to obtain reimbursement.
