Kitchen, dinning and living area are open-concept with high vaulted ceilings for an airy feel.

There is an additional screened in seating area if you want to cozy up with a book in the fall breeze.

The main bedroom features a king bed, smart TV, and private bathroom with luxury shower. The additional two bedrooms both have queen beds with memory foam mattresses. One of the queen bedrooms has an additional smart TV. There is an additional bathroom with a bathtub/shower as well.

The spacious backyard has a privacy fence and lots of room for relaxing or play. Enjoy local brews and roasting marshmallows around your firepit after playing a few rounds of bocce on your private court (bocce set provided)! Cook some burgers on the new grill!

Renovated backyard shed contains a play and art space for kids or young at hear with coloring, board games, darts, bean bags, fairy lights and a multi-game table (mini pool, air hockey, etc).

Level 2 Wallbox EV charger is available for your use. It also works with the standard Tesla adapter.

We know traveling with young children can be an added stress. We are happy to provide a pack and play with an additional mattress insert for 1+ year olds, hiking carrier, high chair and toys. Please let us know of any needs at time of booking. Please note, the home is not child-proofed. Furniture is not secured to the walls, outlets do not have safety covers, etc.

While there are stairs to enter the home, everything else is on one level for you convenience and safety.

Just like for anywhere in the Asheville/Black Mountain area, there may be naive animals, including bears, on the property - They even walk through the downtown on occasion!

We are locals and live close by the home to help with any issues or concerns that arise, but also value your privacy. We do a self-check in with a pass-code lock, unless you would prefer to be greeted in person. We love to give our guests area suggestions as well. Feel free to message us at any point in your airbnb process with questions!

Black Mountain is frequently on the lists of best small towns in America with its quaint store fronts and wonderful hiking trails. It is only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville as well.

Additionally the house is less than a mile to Lake Tomahawk which is a lovely place to take a stroll or play on the playground
