Welcome to "Aloha Niulani"! Our 4-bedroom 2 bath Oceanfront Beach home comfortably sleeps up to 8. Conveniently located in the Old Kauai town of Kapa'a. Tucked away in a secluded neighborhood with your own beach right outside the door, but also within 5-8 mins walking distance to shopping and dining.

Complete home Central Air system added recently! A huge bonus here in Kauai, where the majority of homes do not have these systems in place.

We are also right on the Kapaa bike/jogging/walk path (6 miles long).

Great spot for winter Whale Watching! You can also snorkel on the beach right outside the house.

“Perfect House”
The house was perfect. It exceeded all of my expectations. Rob was a great resource and was incredibly responsive.

The house is literally on the beach. The pictures do not deceive and do not do it justice. We had 5 adults and 2 kids (3 & 1) stay at the house. We all had enough room and felt comfortable in the space. The house had all the amenities too - games, pack and play, coolers, beach accessories, kitchen gadgets, basic seasoning items. We were all pleasantly surprised.

Internet was fast and the AC was cool :). Listening to the waves at night was amazing. The breeze coming through the house felt fantastic.

It's very close to Safeway and Longs (CVS). Tiki Tacos (fish tacos) was amazing and within walking distance. Wailua Shave Ice is right next to Safeway (a must stop in my opinion). The 6 mile beach bath is a really nice stroll. The house is in a good central location - go up north or south with ease.

We really enjoyed our stay and were disappointed when we had to leave. The beach right outside the house has a sandy entrance which is nice. There are a lot of rock on each side, it was fun to explore. The last day a monk seal joined us on the beach.

Overall very nice with one glaring exception
This property is located very close to the water, about 10 feet in fact, so the soothing sound of the ocean is ever present. This made for spectacular sunrises and moon rises. It’s an exceptional location. Once we were settled, the stay was great. However, the beginning of the stay was marred by the lack of cleaning beforehand. We arrived a little early from the appointed check in time, and asked the owner if it was ok to check in early. He agreed. The lock however, was set to not open until 3:00 pm. He texted us a new code so we could enter. We entered the house, and to our surprise, we saw piles of trash and recycling in plastic bags piled everywhere, rooms with cereal on the floor, and bedrooms a mess. Obviously, the cleaning crew hadn’t yet arrived. We called the owner, who responded quickly. He apologized and said he would look into the situation. We left the property until about 4:30p.m. When we returned, the house was still not cleaned. We contacted the owner again and they apologized again. After waiting another hour or so, we decided to stay at another property for the first night since we were not sure when the house would be cleaned. We requested the owner refund us one night of fees, which he did. The following morning we were able to return and stay in the property for the remainder of our trip. The owner informed us the cleaning crew finished cleaning the property by 8:30pm the night before. We could not verify this, since we had decided by that time to stay at another location. The refund went through successfully.

Response:Mindy is correct with her review. Unfortunately our cleaning lady was involved in a traffic accident and had been rushed to the emergency room. We did not know about the situation until the guests arrival, and sent another team to clean the home for them. We definitely apologize and we did offer the one night refund. They were very nice in working with us, and it was much appreciated. Our head cleaner was released 2 days later, and is recovering well

Amazing!
Thank you Kevin for everything you did to accommodate my family and I on our recent trip to Kauai. The home was beautiful, the views were incredible, everything was clean and organized and absolutely perfect. The kids loved the room with the double beds , which was absolutely fantastic for them to get away from the adults and have their own space. House is located directly on the beach and right in the center of town, easily within walking distance to anything you might need to step out for. Can't say enough good things about Kevin or the house. Would definitely stay again.

Great Views! Relaxing time with Family! Baby and Toddler Approved.
We loved staying at Niulani! The best part was waking up to the ocean view everyday and being able to relax on the beach while the kiddos napped (the monitor was in range). We also loved the town of Kapaa, we could walk to happy hour, grocery store, coffee, shaved ice. Only needed a car to get to hiking trails, other cities, and the airport. We were able to snorkel right out front of the house, a couple reefs and smaller color fishies were around! Our girls are 1 and 3 years old, definitely suggest renting a crib/mattress and a bucket of toys from babylicious kauai! Kevin is very responsive and helped with every need. Thank you Niulani!

Amazing!
This house was everything we hoped for and more! It was clean, nicely decorated and had more than enough room for our family of five. Bonus to have AC in every bedroom. We enjoyed spending evenings outside in the sand in the back yard. The location of this house was perfect...easy drive to both sides of the island. Highly recommend and the homeowners were wonderful to work with. We would love to come back someday!

Absolutely wonderful!!
My husband and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary in Kauai. The house was even better than imagined. We thought the location was great btw the north shore and south shore. The house is tucked back in a neighborhood that is easily accessible to food, shops, a great waking / bike path. Kevin and Mary have thought of every little detail. The kitchen is even fantastic! I could go on and on:)! You can tell they really care about their property as a second home. In my opinion, anyone will love it here! It's a beautiful property that is right in the ocean with stunning views!

A beautiful and comfortable location
This home in Kapa`a was a total treat! Imagine opening up your front door to see the Pacific Ocean steps from your own place! The sunrises were amazing, view spectacular all day long, with the lawn right outside your door and ten steps above the beach. The main sound you hear there is the roar of the ocean waves. The kitchen is brand new and fully appointed - we even baked a birthday cake while we were there! Kapa`a has a lot of great places to eat and shop and is within easy driving distance of all that Kauai has to offer. Kevin was great to work with, telling us what to expect and checking to make sure we were having a good stay. We easily fit seven of us in the house, as expected. Highest recommendation.

The Perfect Kauai house on the beach
What a wonderful place. Everything was perfect. Close to South and North part of Island. The house was great for evening relaxing in the back yard. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable. There is a nice gas range for cooking and a huge side by side fridge, and a Big screen T.V. This place was perfect for my family of 7!

This house was everything we hoped for and more! It was clean, nicely decorated and had more than enough room for our family of five. Bonus to have AC in every bedroom. We enjoyed spending evenings outside in the sand in the back yard. The location of this house was perfect...easy drive to both sides of the island. Highly recommend and the homeowners were wonderful to work with. We would love to come back someday!

Absolutely wonderful!!

My husband and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary in Kauai. The house was even better than imagined. We thought the location was great btw the north shore and south shore. The house is tucked back in a neighborhood that is easily accessible to food, shops, a great waking / bike path. Kevin and Mary have thought of every little detail. The kitchen is even fantastic! I could go on and on:)! You can tell they really care about their property as a second home. In my opinion, anyone will love it here! It's a beautiful property that is right in the ocean with stunning views!

A beautiful and comfortable location

This home in Kapa`a was a total treat! Imagine opening up your front door to see the Pacific Ocean steps from your own place! The sunrises were amazing, view spectacular all day long, with the lawn right outside your door and ten steps above the beach. The main sound you hear there is the roar of the ocean waves. The kitchen is brand new and fully appointed - we even baked a birthday cake while we were there! Kapa`a has a lot of great places to eat and shop and is within easy driving distance of all that Kauai has to offer. Kevin was great to work with, telling us what to expect and checking to make sure we were having a good stay. We easily fit seven of us in the house, as expected. Highest recommendation.

Great spot for Kapa’a right on the water

The Perfect Kauai house on the beach

What a wonderful place. Everything was perfect. Close to South and North part of Island. The house was great for evening relaxing in the back yard. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable. There is a nice gas range for cooking and a huge side by side fridge, and a Big screen T.V. This place was perfect for my family of 7!
