Beautiful lakefront house with gentle sloped walk to our private single slip covered boat dock with attached swim dock. Enjoy the wildlife with your morning coffee on the dock or light a fire on the screened in porch and just listen to the sounds of nature. Gourmet kitchen with everything you need to cook or grill out your catch of the day.
An inviting entryway welcomes you to Evergreen Hideaway GA. A welcoming living room with sleeper sofa and plenty of seating for movie nights on the large 65" smart tv with direct tv. Dining table with seating for up to 8. Gorgeous updated gourmet kitchen with high end finishes and double oven. Well equipped for making meals at home. Charcoal grill on downstairs patio. Guest room with queen bed and smart tv. Guest bathroom with frameless shower. Kids bunkroom with 2 sets of twin over full bunk beds with smart tv and ps4 for the kids. Master bedroom with en suite that has double sinks and frameless shower and a king bed with plenty of room upon request for pack n play if needed.
The screened in porch is perfect outdoor living space with gas starter wood burning fireplace. Also has tv with direct tv wireless receiver. For outdoor dining, patio table expands. Exterior patio for grilling and watching wildlife. A short gentle walk leads to the single slip covered boat dock. Dock your boat or swim from the dock with swim ladder.
There is a washer and dryer in the walkout basement.

“Comfortable home in a great location”

My husband and I and our two dogs enjoyed our month’s stay at the Evergreen Hideaway. The house is located on a quiet street with a wooded backyard. Its location is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, parks and the Gainesville Square. The house is a “lake front“ lot with a very nice dock. However, the lake is not visible from the house and getting to the lake requires a downhill walk through the woods to the lake (and an uphill walk on the way back) The dock is located on a small cove with a minimal view of the open lake. We did enjoy using the kayaks. The owners, Justin and Tera, were wonderful to work with. Our favorite part of the house was the screened in patio. The kitchen was updated. However, the furniture and lighting in other parts of the house could use an update. I would recommend this house to a friend if the rental price was decreased. We felt that rental rate was too high for this home.

Tera and Justin’s home is perfect! Clean, comfy, added extras, great communication, recommendations and so accommodating in every way. Tera even left welcome treats for my fur baby! The back porch area is fantastic! We were only in town for work, and spent very little time there, but the porch was the go to area for everyone! If you’re looking for a beautiful home away from home with an added bonus of the lake life, this is it! We’ll definitely stay again if in the area.

Tera’s place was absolutely perfect for our stay. It sits in a great little cove on the lake. Very quiet and peaceful! Also, inside the house was very nice. We have 7 people on the trip and had plenty of room. My favorite part of the house is the back porch! It was wonderful! We’ll definitely be back if we are in the area again. 10 out of 10

House Rules

Please read in house manual for best information on the house and checkout procedures. The washer and dryer are in the walk out basement. Please keep basement door in the kitchen closed for safety. Living room fireplace is not to be used. Screened in porch gas starter fireplace must have gas turned on and off for use and fireplace is not covered by cleaning and must be cleaned out by guest. No pets on the furniture and pick up after your pets. No parties. Per the county laws minimum age to rent is 25 and max occupancy is 9 guests. We support small local business so all trash must be bagged. No parking on the street. Max of 4 cars in the driveway. We live in a neighborhood with permanent residents so please keep noise down between hours of 10pm-7am. If we are contacted by neighbors or authorities of a disturbance, guests may be asked to leave immediately. The use of dock area is at your own risk. Children under 13 are required to wear a lifejacket in dock area and lifejackets may not provided in all sizes. Please clean grill after use. We are on a septic system so please only flush toilet paper. No cleaning fish inside the house. There is a table at the dock for assistance in fish cleaning. No smokingNo parties or eventsCheck-in is anytime after 4:00 PM

Damage Deposit Policy

As a security deposit alternative, houfyProtect, an upfront nonrefundable low cost property damage protection policy for just $5 per night, is taken at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in
If they cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, you’ll be paid 50% for all nights
If they cancel less than 7 days before check-in, you’ll be paid 100% for all nights
Guests can also receive a full refund if they cancel within 48 hours of booking, if the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in
