Enjoying the Oasis Please note the cabin is secluded in a wooded area. The entrance to the cabin is a concrete and wooden sidewalk with 26 steps in between. ALL VRBO & AIRBNB RESERVATIONS - require a credit card on file with our resort prior to check-in. We suggest to complete this one day prior to check-in to avoid delays at arrival. Concierge Service Safe and Secure: We've installed a programmable safe in the reading room for your valuables. I've included instructions on the safe for you to review. Towel Warmer & Essential Oils: Pamper yourself with our luxurious towel warmer in the bathroom. Four bottles of essential oils—rose, Orange, Eucalyptus, and Lavender—are included. Add a few drops to your towel before warming for an aromatic experience. Grilling on the Deck: Enjoy a delicious meal using our gas grill on the deck. The grill is securely chained to protect it from the wind. If you decide to move it, please return it to its original spot and secure the chain afterward. Remember to turn off the grill and the propane tank after use to avoid draining the tank. Luxurious Towels: We provide plush luxury towels for your comfort, with extra towels available in the wardrobe in the reading room. If you need more, please give us 24 hours' notice, and we'll happily provide fresh ones. We also offer hair wraps for your post-shower routine. Kitchen Essentials: Our kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a cozy meal, including an electric skillet, fridge, microwave, dinnerware, and silverware. You'll also find coffee, tea, cocoa mix, and basic seasonings to enhance your culinary creations. Bathroom & Shower: We’ve provided toothpaste, mouthwash, Qtips, makeup remover, and shower bombs for a spa-like aromatherapy experience. The shower room also features a towel warmer, robes, and slippers for your comfort. Convenient Charging: The bedside tables are equipped with charging ports for your devices. Entertainment: Instructions for using the TV, Starlink, and Bose Speaker are available for your enjoyment. Roman Shades: Our Oasis features 11 stunning 6-foot windows with views of the woods, river, and valley. To close the shades, gently use the handle behind the lower section. When raising them, use both hands to lift them evenly. Books, Games, Movies Books are in the tv stand as well as around the cabin. Games and Movies are in the tv stand. Check-In and Departure Procedures Check-In: On your arrival day, we'll text the code to your lockbox between 2:30 and 2:45 pm. This will be sent to the phone number registered with your reservation. Please confirm receipt of the information via text. The code will be accompanied by final directions to your cabin. Please note that GPS might not take you directly to your cabin. If you phone the office after hours please use the number registered on the reservation. Check-Out: Check-out time is by 11:00 AM. Please notify us by 10 AM on your departure day. If we haven't heard from you, we'll give you a friendly courtesy call. Check-Out Checklist: If you plan an early checkout, please let us know. No need to strip the bed. Place all dirty towels in the bathroom hamper. Wash the dishes and leave them to drain in the sink. Alternatively, we can handle the dishes for a $25.00 service fee. Unplug the coffee pot. Dispose of all waste in the container on the rear deck. Return the grill and mat to their original location if moved. Leave the cabin key and gate key fob on the table. Ensure both are accounted for. If you've used any gaming systems or alternate TV setups, please restore the original wiring. If there's been any damage, kindly notify us before checkout. Nature & Insects: Our beautiful oasis is nestled on the outskirts of the Mark Twain Forest, offering a unique connection with nature. While we treat the cabin regularly to keep it insect-free, we recommend bringing insect repellent, especially as different seasons bring different bugs. Vehicles: RVs and off-road utility vehicles aren't permitted on the property, but motorcycles are welcome. To maintain a peaceful environment, we ask that you avoid loud engine revving or excessive noise. Lighting: If you arrive after dark, a flashlight may be helpful. While the cabin has outdoor lighting in the parking area, sidewalk, and stairs, we keep it minimal to let you enjoy the starry night sky. Motion sensor lights will guide you, but additional lighting can be useful. Fire Safety: For safety reasons, no outdoor fires are allowed. The cabin deck has a gas grills for your convenience. Parking: Please note that parking is available for one vehicle only. Policies & Charges Reservations: We accept all reservations according to our policy statement, with a two-night minimum stay. Check-In: Begins at 3 PM. Check-Out: Must be completed by 11 AM. Late checkouts are not available. Occupancy: The cabin rental is for two adults only. No children or pets are allowed, and the minimum age for guests is 25 years. Violations will result in reservation cancellation without a refund. Damage & Charges: We charge for any intentional damage, missing items, or non-accidental damage. Please refer to our detailed charges for any specific issues, like lost keys or damage to linens and fixtures. Cancellation & Refunds: Reservations are paid in full 30 days before arrival. 100% refund if canceled 14 days before check-in. 50% refund if canceled 7-14 days before check-in. No refund for cancellations within 7 days of check-in. Cancellations must be submitted via email or through the booking portal you used. Refunds are processed to the card on file or via check if the card is no longer available. We do not issue credits for inclement weather, but we'll keep you informed if travel becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Rental Insurance: Covers accidental damage only. Non-accidental damage will be charged with the documentation provided. We will charge the cardholder on file for intentional damage. $50.00 Sheets damaged by oils and lotions $200.00 - Comforter stained by oils or lotions $25.00/Hr for any stains from hair dye in the sink or shower.
