North Main is a prestigious and walkable community next to Downtown. This calm, well-established neighborhood enjoys all the perks of being close to the bustle and excitement, while still keeping its privacy and serenity. It also has its own set of sought-after restaurants and shops just steps from the historic homes that grace the residential parts of the neighborhood.
The area was originally founded in 1813 to be the business sector of Greenville. Residential growth sprang up in the area until the Great Depression, and it was several decades before it began to grow again. With the rejuvenation of Downtown, North Main benefited and became a thriving hub.
As one of the oldest neighborhoods in Greenville, North Main is full of historic homes. However, it underwent serious rejuvenation over the last several decades. Many of the historic homes have been carefully renovated to keep their charm while giving them modern amenities. There are also incredible new constructions, single-family homes, making North Main a treasure chest of beautiful real estate.
Schools in this neighborhood include Stone Academy, Summit Drive Elementary School, and League Academy.

🚍 BUS - The bus system is not up to par quite yet and we recommend using a car. However, if you wish to use our transit system, the closest bus stop is within walking distance from the house on Wade Hampton Boulevard.
🐕🐾: We don't simply allow dogs, we WELCOME them! We love our fur babies! This property allows a maximum of (2) dogs up to 60 lbs.
💗 We’ve got all the amenities you need to pamper your pet. For your convenience we provide the following selection of amenities and extras: bowls, bed, crate, leash, courtesy bags for walking your dog, pet friendly towels, a concierge list of nearby pet-friendly restaurants, bars, parks, activities and attractions, pet hair remover, waste station with waste bags conveniently located in our fully fenced backyard!

Please, clean paws only in the house and keep dogs off furniture. If you would like to snuggle with your dog on the couch, we provide blankets you can use to lay on the furniture.
The pet policy is strictly enforced.
🐈 Cats: they are allowed only if the cat is declawed or if nail caps are used the whole time the cat lodges at the house.

👶🏻 CHILDREN: We love them and we WELCOME them! We have 4 of our own and we know how hard it is to travel with them, so we provide lots of amenities to make their stay pleasant and stress free for you!

Policies and Rules
PET POLICY:
✺ Up to two house-trained dog up to 60 lbs - must be added to the reservation, fully potty-trained and current on shots, flea and tick treatments.
✺ No dog on beds on couches
✺ Dog must be in crate if left alone
✺ Pick up dog's waste in backyard. Failure to do so, will result in $100 cleaning surcharge.
❗If you don't disclose that you will be bringing a pet and do so, the cost is $200 per pet per night.
SERVICE DOGS:
✺ No pet fees for a service dog.
✺ Under the ADA, the dog must be under control by the handler at all times; therefore, never left alone at any time.
❗ If we discover a guest has misrepresented a pet as a service animal, we reserve the right to seek financial restitution, report fraudulent claims to government authorities and to evict the guest(s) without further notice. In the latter case, there will be no right to a refund for unused rent.
EARLY CHECK-IN & LATE CHECK OUT:
We're dedicated to providing a sparkling clean environment for every guest. To maintain this high standard, we have strict cleaning procedures. While we'll do our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs, it might not always be possible due to our cleaning schedule.
If we can accommodate your request, there may be an additional fee to cover the extra cleaning time:
Early Check-In: $20/hour
Late Check-Out: $40/hour
Unapproved late check-outs will incur a $100 per hour fee.
STAY RULES:
✺ REGISTRATION+LEASE AGREEMENT+ DEPOSIT: As this is a mid-term rental (30+ days), and to ensure compliance with both insurance requirements and local laws, it’s essential that all individuals and pets staying at the property are registered, a refundable deposit collected and an agreement signed. After booking, we’ll provide you with a separate form and agreement to complete your reservation. Please ensure the form is fully completed and the agreement signed prior to your arrival, as these are required for access to the property. We will send you further information regarding the payment of the deposit after booking.
✺ VERIFICATION: To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Important note: The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.
✺VISITORS: allowed only upon host's prior written authorization.
✺ SUPERVISION: The property has not been child or pet proofed. Kids + pets are welcome with adult supervision. Their safe and fun stay is 100% your responsibility.
✺ PESTS+INSECTS: This is South Carolina AND you are on a lake! While we routinely provide pest control, please remember that this property is on a lake and in the woods - we cannot control nature. If you don't want bugs, mosquitoes, spiders, palmetto bugs and other pests in the house make sure you do not leave the doors open! We do not give refunds for critters found in or outside of the property. We provide routine pest and animal control. Please message us and we will address any issue promptly.
✺ OWN RISK: The house and all its amenities are provided "as is" and their use is at your own risk. Please exercise caution and inform management immediately if equipment is damaged or not functioning properly before using it. Because this is a lake house, a signed waiver of liability must be on file prior to check-in.
✺ REPORTING: Should you encounter any issue during your stay, you shall report it to owner immediately otherwise you waive your right to raise it later.
✺ FIRE PIT: Exercise caution while using the backyard fire pit. Do not leave fires unattended and DO NOT DISCARD HOT ASHES. Use provided water hose to FULLY put fire out before walking away.
✺ INSURANCE: All guests must have traveler insurance on their own for the duration of their stay.
✺ NO CRYPTO-MINING
❗This home has many smart devices for security and safety. Tampering with the internet, modem, WiFi, or any electronic device that causes devices to malfunction or come "off line" will result in immediate cancellation of the booking with no refund for any used or unused portion of the reservation.
