A Perfect Christmas Holiday Stay For Our Family!
My family and I stayed at English Prarie BNB for Christmas in 2024 (i.e., 11 adults, 4 kids, 2 dogs). It was perfect!!! The host Mike was quite communicative and his attention to detail was second-to-none. The property felt like a home away from home. It was fully decorated for the holidays, complete with a tree and holiday lights and red table runners and cute little candy cane drawer pulls and a hundred other small holiday-themed details all over the home which were so thoughtful!!! The host even left us with a Christmas tree decorating kit. The Kidquarium was meticulously maintained and the kids had a blast, the golf simulator was awesome, and the house was loaded up with many fun games for kids. We loved the electronic game table and shuffle board and ping pong table. The fully stocked coffee bar was great! The beds and linens were clean and crisp and comfortable, HVAC was perfect, and the property was accessible for kids and seniors alike. It was big enough so we could be together as much as we wanted, but there are also little break away rooms for people who wanted a little more alone time. Mike also put CO and smoke detectors throughout the home (excellent!), and cell phone chargers everywhere with USB Types A and C and USB Micro connectors everywhere. This kitchen was well-appointed with all the dishes and flatware and cups we needed (perhaps enough to entertain 25 or more people!). The home was quiet and huge. The flat screen TVs were great. Highly recommended!!!

Our family had a blast! Everyone from ages 4 months to 64 years old had a great time. This house was perfect for hosting a large multi-family gathering. Rainy weather did not ruin our trip since there was so much to do inside. The kids enjoyed the bounce house, the digital game table, board games, and of course the pool! The host went above and beyond with special touches including having burp cloths, a soothing noise machine, and a nursery room set up! They even had an extra place to put the baby on the first floor. The location was convenient to the water ski show on the lake and our family enjoyed that too. Minor downsides-- nearby a main road (can hear/see cars when outside), keypad locks were a little confusing. Overall we had a fantastic experience and the kids are already asking to go back.

We had an incredible stay at this property. We were a large group with 9 adults and 7 young kids between 1-5yo. All in all - the house was big, clean, and most importantly: thoughtfully designed with your experience in mind. They make every effort for your trip to be a relaxing, easy, and enjoyable experience. Everything is labeled clearly so it’s easy to jump right in. Notably- this house was a dream come true for the kids. There are SO many amenities that the kids absolutely loved. The indoor “kidquarium” pool, a bouncy house, tons of games, ping pong table, kids waffle maker and sugary toppings, an on site playground, and the campfire. And of course for the parents: the jacuzzi, golf simulator, campfire, and an EASY checkout experience where they don’t make you do all the work before the cleaning crew comes in. We loved our stay and really hope to be back again. Can’t recommend it enough for a large group with young kids in twin lakes. Thanks for everything!

👥 Max 30 Guests: The property accommodates up to 30 guests, including children and infants. No more than 30 guests are allowed on the property at any time, whether staying overnight or visiting.

🌙 Quiet Hours: Quiet time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am to ensure restful nights for everyone. Closely monitored for compliance.

🚭 Indoor Air Quality: Smoking tobacco or marijuana indoors is strictly prohibited indoors (including pool room). Smart smoke detectors will alert us to this specific type of smoke, resulting in a $1,000 fee. Feel free to enjoy these outdoors.

🐾 Pets Allowed: Up to 2 dogs are welcome. Pet owners are fully responsible for any damages caused by their pets.

🏡 Respect the Community: Twin Lakes values harmony. Please follow short-term rental guidelines to honor our community and maintain our license.

🤫 Embrace the Peace: Enjoy your stay while being mindful of noise. Children’s laughter is always welcome, but please respect our neighbors.

🎉 No Parties: Gatherings are great, but parties with excessive intoxication, loud noise, or extra guests are not permitted. Multiple indoor noise monitoring systems and outdoor cameras ensure everyone’s safety and peace.

This is a perfect house for families. It has plenty of beds and lots of activities to be fun for all ages! Mike is a fantastic host - the owners manual is impeccable and he was highly responsive leading up to and during our visit. We’ve rented this house twice and look forward to returning again!

A Perfect Christmas Holiday Stay For Our Family!

My family and I stayed at English Prarie BNB for Christmas in 2024 (i.e., 11 adults, 4 kids, 2 dogs). It was perfect!!! The host Mike was quite communicative and his attention to detail was second-to-none. The property felt like a home away from home. It was fully decorated for the holidays, complete with a tree and holiday lights and red table runners and cute little candy cane drawer pulls and a hundred other small holiday-themed details all over the home which were so thoughtful!!! The host even left us with a Christmas tree decorating kit. The Kidquarium was meticulously maintained and the kids had a blast, the golf simulator was awesome, and the house was loaded up with many fun games for kids. We loved the electronic game table and shuffle board and ping pong table. The fully stocked coffee bar was great! The beds and linens were clean and crisp and comfortable, HVAC was perfect, and the property was accessible for kids and seniors alike. It was big enough so we could be together as much as we wanted, but there are also little break away rooms for people who wanted a little more alone time. Mike also put CO and smoke detectors throughout the home (excellent!), and cell phone chargers everywhere with USB Types A and C and USB Micro connectors everywhere. This kitchen was well-appointed with all the dishes and flatware and cups we needed (perhaps enough to entertain 25 or more people!). The home was quiet and huge. The flat screen TVs were great. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic week for our family vacation. All the amenities were spot on. A wonderful time was had by our whole family. The backyard play gym, the pool, the playrooms, the waffle bar, the golf simulator. Wow…. This home has it all, including charging cords everywhere.

Our family had a blast! Everyone from ages 4 months to 64 years old had a great time. This house was perfect for hosting a large multi-family gathering. Rainy weather did not ruin our trip since there was so much to do inside. The kids enjoyed the bounce house, the digital game table, board games, and of course the pool! The host went above and beyond with special touches including having burp cloths, a soothing noise machine, and a nursery room set up! They even had an extra place to put the baby on the first floor. The location was convenient to the water ski show on the lake and our family enjoyed that too. Minor downsides-- nearby a main road (can hear/see cars when outside), keypad locks were a little confusing. Overall we had a fantastic experience and the kids are already asking to go back.

Family fun

Wonderful family time in a great place. Lots to do for all ages. Very clean and very well appointed. It was just the thing I hoped for. Beds are okay. TV was terrific. I can’t think of anything that could have been better for my family

We had an incredible stay at this property. We were a large group with 9 adults and 7 young kids between 1-5yo. All in all - the house was big, clean, and most importantly: thoughtfully designed with your experience in mind. They make every effort for your trip to be a relaxing, easy, and enjoyable experience. Everything is labeled clearly so it’s easy to jump right in. Notably- this house was a dream come true for the kids. There are SO many amenities that the kids absolutely loved. The indoor “kidquarium” pool, a bouncy house, tons of games, ping pong table, kids waffle maker and sugary toppings, an on site playground, and the campfire. And of course for the parents: the jacuzzi, golf simulator, campfire, and an EASY checkout experience where they don’t make you do all the work before the cleaning crew comes in. We loved our stay and really hope to be back again. Can’t recommend it enough for a large group with young kids in twin lakes. Thanks for everything!
