You will love relaxing at our peaceful, cozy cabin after spending your day exploring the mountains, hiking, wineries, apple orchards, waterfalls, fishing & all that North Georgia has to offer. If you are looking for an escape - Ellijay Hideaway is it!

Starting with the spacious double decks: There is a hot tub and an outdoor dining table on each deck surrounded by trees for you to enjoy a meal and sip your coffee, which can be made fresh daily from our coffee bar. You can crack open a cold beer or pour yourself a glass of wine in peace and quiet on the large front porch as well. There is a wood burning fireplace inside and a firepit outside to toast s’mores and make memories.

As for the indoor space: there are two floors. The first level has a king bed room with a sitting area and a walk in closet. The closet has a custom built toddler bed nook inside. There is a pack and play, high chair and dog cage and bed stored on site as well for your use. There is a full bathroom with a tub on the first level. Also on the first level is a kitchen with a premium, fully stocked coffee bar, a breakfast nook that overlooks the decks and is surrounded by windows and trees and a living area that has a queen sleeper sofa with an upgraded gel mattress pad.

On the lower level basement there are 2 more bedrooms, a game room with pool table, a laundry room and another full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has a twin bunk bed. There are TVs in all the bedrooms, living room and game room. We hope you don’t have to work, but if you do, you can do it with a view! Looking out to the decks and beautiful trees, there is a dedicated office desk for your use with a charging station on the lower level as well.

The cabin has a luxury, modern feel, but is also quaint and cozy with treehouse cabin vibes close to everything! It will leave you wanting to come back again and again. We cannot wait to host you and give you a great 5 star experience! Ellijay Hideaway cabin has everything you need!

“The perfect cabin!! ”

We loved our stay in this cabin! The location is perfect - beautiful view, close to a nice grocery store (Ingles), 15 min from blue ridge and 1 hr from Helen. It is decorated flawlessly, very clean, very well thought out, with our every need anticipated and provided for us. It has comfy beds and plenty of space for everyone. My kids loved the game room and bunn beds and my toddler loved the custom toddler bedroom they built-in to the master. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook thanksgiving dinner for my family. We enjoyed an outdoor fire and made s’mores. The owners were so responsive and helpful. They did a great job with this cabin and outfitted it perfectly to welcome guests. It was so peaceful and quiet there yet close to everything fun we wanted to do to explore north Georgia. I would 100% recommend staying here and can’t wait until we can come back.

We had an amazing time in Ellijay! Our cabin stay was nothing short of perfect. We enjoyed apple picking and family hikes, the leaves were beautiful this time of year! The cabin itself was a cozy haven, offering everything we needed for relaxation. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

Gina and Mike were outstanding hosts! We had a slight change in our itinerary and they went out of their way to accommodate us!

We have a twin bunk bed room and a custom built toddler bed nook inside the master bedroom for the little ones that need it. We also have a high chair, pack and play and baby gate on site for your use. There is also streaming on TV’s, a gaming console, a giant connect four game and other children’s games to entertain the little ones.

There are absolutely no parties or events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of this cabin.

No smoking allowed

No smoking of any kind on the decks or inside the cabin. If you need to smoke, please use the driveway or the firepit area only. There are NO illegal substances or narcotics allowed anywhere on the premises. There will be a $500 fine and/or immediate removal from the premises with no refund for evidence of violation of this policy.

No Parking

Private driveway can comfortably fit 3 cars. The driveway is gravelly, but flat, and easy to pull in and out.

House Rules

In addition to all other previously stated policies, here are a few more things to know:

WALK THROUGH: When you arrive, if you see anything that is damaged or appears to be dirty, please let us know immediately, and send a picture if you can, so that we can make sure it is fixed accordingly and so that we can make sure you are not charged for any pre-existing damage.

CLEANING FEE/POLICY: The cleaning fee covers the sanitation and setting up of the premises prior to your stay. It also covers all of the laundering, dishes, trash and sanitizing post stay. Staying in a house is different than staying in a hotel as there is not any housekeeping service. You are not required to do any vaccuuming, mopping, laundry or making the beds, however, we would appreciate it if you did care for our home the way you would care for your own ie: wipe up any spills, pick up excessive crumbs, dirt, etc. If you think you may have stained or soiled something excessively, please contact the owner for further instructions or leave a note for the cleaning crew. Full check out instructions are in the guest manual on site.

DAMAGE & REPAIRS: Please let us know if anything gets broken or damaged, or if something is simply not working the way it should be, so that we can make sure it is fixed and/or taken care of for the next guest and/or for the remainder of your stay if it is a necessity. If the problem is not reported, we cannot get it fixed.

WEATHER/STORM/ACTS OF NATURE OR GOD: Services such as power outages or WIFI outages due to mother nature or an act of God are out of our control and there will NOT be refunds for such situations.

LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY: You agree to be responsible and liable for, and by, the actions and safety of every person in your group. You, and your guests, shall indemnify and hold the owners of Ellijay Hideaway free and harmless any and all liability, claims, loss, damage or expenses arising by reason of any injury, death or property damage sustained by any person including you or your guests, where such injury, death or property damage is caused by negligence or an intentional act by you or your guests.

Failure to comply with the rules, terms and conditions of the property by you, or any individual associated with your or your guests, will be considered a material breach of this contract.

Payment Policy

Refundable Damage Deposit

Will collect a security deposit and will refund after cleaning inspection is complete within 48 hours after checkout. You will be notified if there are any damages found.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund if you cancel at least 10 days before arrival.
50% refund if you cancel between 3-9 days before arrival.
No refund if you cancel less than 48 hours in advance.
