Thank you so much for your feedback and for staying with us! The propane levels that service the pool heater, fireplace, and all of the hot water to the house come from the same source and were showing adequate levels throughout your stay.
We have scheduled the gas company to come out to make sure we do not have any issues with our system as a precaution. We would have been happy to get the pilot light re-lit on the fireplace during your stay had we known prior to check-out.
We would love to invite you back to stay with us in the future to enjoy all that Edisto and Hidden Oasis has to offer!

Hidden Oasis was a wonderful place to stay. So many amenities and house fully stocked with everything you will need for your stay. Melissa is very responsive and helpful with any questions you may have. We enjoyed walking on the road around the neighborhood each night and using the pool. Very relaxing location and a short drive to the beach.

This is an absolutely hidden gem of a place and I hope to have the opportunity to reserve this house again! It does not feel like your "typical" AirBnB; it feels like you are in your own home, so personal and comfortable. Melissa has this home furnished with absolutely anything you may need, especially in the kitchen. She definitely invested her own needs and experiences in creating a serene getaway that you truly can settle in and never leave. The amount of space, sleeping accommodations, and gathering areas are exceptional, and with a large group, provide ample room to join together or separate for some personal respite. The pool and outdoor area make you feel as if you are in a tropical escape, and though the weather did not favor during our trip, it was still enjoyable with the covered area. Melissa is very personable herself and went above and beyond to make sure we had wi-fi and anything we needed. I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful vibes about this place. It was wonderful!

Edisto Hidden Oasis definitely lives up to its name and is a hidden gem. Melissa has a beautiful home and is an amazing host. She quickly responded to all inquiries as well as provided very helpful information to accommodate our needs. Their home is perfect for a getaway with family or friends and comes fully equipped with everything thing needed if wanting to stay in and cook. The island is quaint and charming with great places to dine nearby. We did experience intermittent internet connection and were aware that we might. However, that was minor compared to our overall experience and did not impact our time together. I would definitely visit and stay here again.

Melissa was an excellent host. The property has a lot of space and amenities for a family. Off season means a lot of time hanging at the fire pit, pool or pool table. Off the beaten path RSO it is very quiet. Had a great stay even though a Semi truck took down the local internet for a time.

“Spacious, beautiful with all the comforts of home ”
This home is in a great location- just a few miles from the beach but on a road with plefty of space between the homes. Beautiful scenery. It was just my husband and I for the first part of the week while we were preparing for our daughter‘s wedding but there is plenty of room for larger families or a gathering. It felt like a home away from home- the home was clean and had a comfortable king bed in the master. There’s a comfortable den with a tv for relaxing and a great area out back with a covered porch by the pool. The kitchen is well stocked with nice, durable cookware and tools. We also had our daughter‘s wedding here and it was perfect! The natural landscape made for a beautiful backdrop for her ceremony and the backyard was the perfect reception spot! Our guests raved about this home and we all loved how intimate and personal it made our daughter’s wedding day feel!

We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving here. The kitchen was amazing!! Exceptionally equipped for large family meals. Small children and pet friendly. I wouldn’t recommend paying to heat the pool in very cold weather. Had no way to check the temperature but don’t think it even got close to 86 degrees. The propane did go out in the fireplace so not sure if there was a correlation there? Melissa was always very responsive. I never had to wait. The outdoor space was amazing as well. I would highly recommend staying here especially in warmer weather when you could enjoy all this home has to offer!
