Experience the charm of Ecurie-osity, where beautifully renovated 150-year-young stone stables await you. Nestled at the end of the privately owned gardens of the historic Police station built in 1874, located in Milang, this unique accommodation offers a blend of history and modern luxury.

Indulge in your own self-contained private space featuring a king bed with an amazing mattress, adorned with luxury linen and designer furnishings that have delighted our previous guests.

Our accomodation provides you with a touch of luxury. We provide our guests with catering facilities in the kitchenette, well appointed bathroom ammenities and luxurious linens dress the amazing king bed.

The walls are solid stone as built 150 years ago so stay cool in the warmer months especially in the evenings with the lake breezes and cosy in winter with your own wood fire to enjoy.

Enjoy the views of the garden and the abundance of wildlife including several species of native birds.

Take a short drive to the beautiful Langhorne creek region and wine and dine all day then return to the peaceful tranquil lake side accomodation to unwind in the evening. We have spectacular star viewing across the sky on clear evenings which can also be viewed from the comfort of your king bed!

Romantic, luxurious stay in a quiet town which has lovely views over the water a short walk away. Easy access to wine region which features great places to visit. The space is tastefully decorated and features many thoughtful details such as high quality linens, easy to use coffee machine and local larder products. A fire and heated bathroom floors made for a cozy and fancy stay while the gardens offer the chance to be mindful in nature. Excellent stay.

We really wanted a break - and Jodie & Manuel’s little cottage was wonderful. The bed ( would give it 10*) We slept so well. Great TV - tiny but very useable kitchen - Bathroom had all we needed. Thank you both - we felt so relaxed -knowing we could keep in touch over our 3 days was a bonus.. We hope to return one day, Very best wishes Patricia & Michael

The heritage renovated stables was absolutely beautiful, overlooking an enviable garden. The unit had everything we could possibly require and was spotlessly clean. I don't think I've ever slept in a more comfortable bed. Jodie and Manuel were friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Jodie and Manuel were the perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful, they made us feel at home. The superbly renovated stable was renovated to a very high standard and was immaculate. All kitchen items and linen were also of high quality. We would happily stay there again and would highly recommend this charming accommodation.

What a beautiful place to stay! Jodie and Manuel have done a fantastic job renovating the stables. It was super cozy with everything you need! With an added bonus of being able to see the stars from your bed! Was pretty spectacular. Milang was quiet, and the stables provide the perfect private location to wind down/relax after a day of checking out all the fleurieu has to offer. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying in the historic stables at Milang. They were beautifully furnished and the bed was amazing! Being able to see the stars whilst lying in bed was something very relaxing and different. We will come back and stay longer next time and explore Milang more! Lovely town, Jodie and Manuel are lovely hosts!

Ecurie-Osity is a short easy 5 minute walk to the lake, 7 minute drive to the famous Langhorne Creek vine region, 10 minutes drive to the historical township of Strathalbyn, 20 minute drive to Goolwa then onto Middleton and Port Elliot (1/2 hour)

We live separately on the property in the Old police station which is now a beautiful home so your key will be in the door and everything waiting for your arrival. You can access Écurie Osity from the back of the property off Potters st (dirt lane at side of post office) through the gates onto gravel driveway and parking area
