Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The cabin was extremely clean and everything you need! The views from the cabin were fantastic! We stayed in January so we watched the snow come in off the mountains from the porch! The hot tub was extremely clean and well maintained! There was some level of difficulty ascending the drive way as it had iced over with the storm, but it was maneuvered and not a problem! Stacia and Larry were very easily contacted, we received an early line of communication from them on our first day checking in that everything was going well. Would absolutely stay again and suggest it to anyone who wants to be far enough away from the heavy tourist spots but still enjoy the beauty of the Smokey Mountains!

Great getaway
Nice space for us and our kiddos. Some cabins are kitschy and cluttered, which is not great for young kids. This cabin was NOT that. We had a minor need the first night and the hosts had it taken care of immediately.

Place is clean and is a roof over your head. Some of the details are miss leading. Amenities listed were missing a few items (including light bulbs- which we had to change). When asked about missing items the owners replied with “did you need these items or was you just inquiring because they are missing?” and still didn’t deliver. Fireplace was a big selling point for us. Unfortunately the fireplace was definitely not up to what was expected. The driveway is awful. Straight up doesn’t bother me especially in a 4wd f150. Halfway up the drive it does a hairpin curve to the right and the angle of the drive at the curve is awful. Both my f150 and dodge 1500 both had to be put in 4wd just to get around the curve without spinning. Parking is less than to be desired and takes some major maneuvering if you have more than one vehicle. Positive: clean, has 2 beds, had washer and dryer, and was sort of secluded. By sort of I mean a single line of trees separating the next door neighbor which is spitting distance from the house. Would not recommend staying here if your in a car especially during snow season or if it rains.

Response:Sad to see you weren't happy like the 100s of guests before you have been. We try very hard to make sure that all of our guests have a great experience. The missing amenity (an iron) was actually in the closet where we suggested you look and when we asked if you actually needed the iron, it was in direct response to your comment that you were letting us know it wasn't there so we didn't think you took it. As far as the driveway, there is a curve, not a hairpin turn. The driveway can be viewed on TikTok @christinamelisi - the majority of the comments are pro-driveway!

Great property, has it all from hot tub and fire pit to a nice front porch with a view. Driveway was a little steep but not too bad once you do it a couple times. Guardrail would make guests not accustomed to driving in the mountains feel a little safer I think. Overall a great stay and we appreciated the hospitality.
