Perfect location for this beautifully decorated and well appointed 1bdrm luxury apartment in prime east village neighborhood. All of the action is right here in the neighborhood. many great restaurants Music venues, are only a few blocks away!
The best of Manhattan and Brooklyn at your doorstep. 3 blocks from beautiful Tompkins Square Park, 5 minute walk to the lower east side and 3 blocks from L train subway. 1 subway stop from Bedford St in Williamsburg Brooklyn on the L! There is a Citi Bike rental rack a half block away.

We had a wonderful stay at David’s apartment. Perfect location, close to public transportation, lots of restaurants, bar and parks close. The place is perfect for a couple for few nights, a real Airbnb experience. David is very responsive.

I have to say that this place feels super personal like I am in somebody’s space and of course we are in somebody’s space but this is probably the most I felt like I was squatting. This makes it difficult to fully relax. The futon is very uncomfortable to sleep in and the check in process to get the keys is very inconvenient. They are located 3 blocks away and considering people show up with their luggage, it is quite a nuisance. The check out process is also annoying for the same reason but you do have the option to leave the keys on the kitchen counter. With that said, the place is in a nice location and his place has a lot of character. Seems like a very interesting person lives there. Plenty of things to check out all around us and I don’t think you will have a bad time here.

Response:Im sorry you feel like you are squatting. Thats the first time Ive ever heard that type of comment. Yes, its my personal apartment and Ive been on airbnb for many years now. Its been the same key pick up and check in procedure for the entire time. Ive been a super host many times which means Im getting good feed back from guests who seem to love the apartment for its style and authenticity. This is my personal condo. Im not a landlord of an airbnb motel that you might encounter elsewhere. This is the only apartment I own and Im using airbnb like it was meant to be used. Its a B&B not a hotel. I live there and use the proceeds to help pay my mortgage. There is a lot of bad actors on airbnb that have abused the platform and ruin it for folks like me when they rent out multiple listings and break the rules. I will take your feed back under advisement and I will try and make check in easier in the future. My apologies for any inconvenience. Btw you didn't mention that the bedroom has a very comfortable expensive mattress. I have had spinal surgery in the past and I have spared no expense on the mattress. Yes there is a sleeper couch and sleeper chair in the living room. Those are there for convenience and are not the main sleeping area which is the bedroom. Yes, sleeper sofas are not the most comfortable. They are not meant to be. They have a dual purpose and the main purpose is being a couch for the living room. The listing has a max of 2 people so usually folks sleep in the bedroom.

The Communication with David was great! He is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the second „bed“ was just an old small and uncomfortable sofa, we were not able to use it. The pillows were super hard, we used towels instead. Honestly never had a situation like that before. It was a bit dusty and not very clean. Especially decoration items. The kitchen was good and a nice feature is the water dispenser.

Response:Lena, I wasn't aware that you needed the sofa bed set up. I would have had it ready if you had asked me. Also If you asked me where extra pillows were located I would have directed you to the closet. There was no reason to use towels. Thats ridiculous. By the way, Im not advertising a 2 bedroom apartment. its one bedroom and max 2 guests. Hopefully there wasn't more than 2 people in the apartment. Im sorry you were not satisfied. I will discuss this with my house keeping service. Next time you book a room with airbnb and you have a problem with anything, please let the host know so that they can do something about it WHILE you are still in the apartment. I can't help you if you don't let me know what's going on.
