Sigrid’s house was even better than the pictures. We arrived to beautiful lighting, with a subtle smell of fresh essential oils. The beds, sheets and pillows were all hotel quality, making our stay extra special. Everything we needed was there. The house has been perfectly thought out to make your stay easy and comfortable. Sigrid was very responsive and happy to offer recommendations when contacted. We would highly recommend staying at Driftwood. We hope to do so again one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Sigrid's place. The house feels very welcoming, with a lovely mix of modern and vintage pieces. The beds were super comfy and the place was spotlessly clean. We spent a significant amount of time sitting out on the deck watching the birds or the stars, very peaceful. And wonderfully close to the Walky Kiosk at Walkerville North, and Walkerville's South Magic Beach is a must-do.

“The best place to get away from it all! ”
Loved our stay at Driftwood Cottage. So quiet and tucked away from it all, and it still close to so many destinations- Walkerville South Beach, Sandy Point, Fish Creek, The Prom. The cleanest holiday house ever! So well equipped and luxuriously accomodating. Kids loved the cubby house, strawberry and tomato picking. The outdoor bath made trips to the beach a breeze, and both decks were lovely to soak up the sunshine or sit in quiet reflection at night. We loved it and hope to return.

A really beautiful house with gorgeous back and front yards for enjoying nature. Fire kept us warm and the house was well insulated and cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. I loved that it was peaceful and semi-isolated space, yet still not far from the cafe at the beach or shops in any of the small towns nearby. Go to the Italian deli in Meeniyan, yum. Firepit:The use of the outdoor firepit is seasonal-we adhere to state firebans-there are currently no fire restrictions within South Gippsland, CFA.
Guests are advised to exercise caution and follow all safety guidelines:
If it is windy(Above 10klm) ,do not light the fire.
The fire must be attended to at all times and must be fully extinguished at bedtime or when not present.
