We absolutely loved our stay at Double J’s Lakehouse!! Joanne was such a great hostess, she was so responsive before and during our stay, she was inviting and immediately helped with any questions we had.
The very best was her attention to detail and the amazing amenities she provided! The kitchen was well stocked with every snack you could imagine, great breakfast options and drinks in the fridge! Everything was squeaky clean, each bathroom had Bath and Body Works products to use, there were fluffy blankets on both levels and the games downstairs were fantastic!
The boat dock and deck were in great shape, we loved sitting on the deck and being able to watch the kids who loved kayaking!
We will absolutely be staying again!

Very well kept lakefront property with absolutely beautiful views of the lake. My family really enjoyed spending time fishing on the large covered dock. This lake home covers all the bases, I would have no reservations booking this place again!

Double J's is a special place
Our family of 8 ranging in age from adult down to 5 months stayed for 4 nights in March. We were in town for a basketball tournament for our daughter. While the temps were mild, we really enjoyed the outdoors surrounding the cabin. Our boys enjoyed fishing off the dock and we all enjoyed sitting around the campfire in the evening. I think the thing we enjoyed the most were the comfortable beds/bedding/pillows. Nothing was spared when it came to extras. Which leads me to mention the abundance of snacks, breakfast items, milk, juice, fruit, condiments, paper products, and toiletries. Joanne had a crib set up and ready to go along with extra blankets, baby bath towels, high chair, and bath tub mat available. It really felt like we were staying at a family members cabin...a home away from home. The cabin was very clean and the grounds were very well maintained. One thing to be aware of is the stairs which are very steep. I was a little concerned about our 3 year old getting up and down, but he got the hang of it and we had no issues. Joanne the owner was great to deal with and was always available if anything came up. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Perfect Lake Weekend
JoAnne's lake house is so much fun for families. The view from the porch and the two story dock is incredible. There are so many fun activities inside and out. I highly recommend JoAnne's house. She is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. Thanks, JoAnne!

Our family had the most wonderful stay at the lake house! Our host JoAnne and her husband Joe were the absolute nicest hosts we've ever had w/ AirBnB and the house itself was perfect for our family, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind.
But the real highlight of our trip was the fantastic fishing! Our kids had an absolute blast casting their lines into the lake and catching fish on their own.
In between fishing adventures, we enjoyed relaxing on the deck and taking in the lake views, and evenings were spent gathered around the fire pit, toasting marshmallows. Overall, our stay was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was the perfect family vacation and we look forward to visiting again soon!

I can’t say enough great things about JoAnne and this beautiful lake home. The view was gorgeous with many outdoor activities. Even though it was winter my son in law was down on the water fishing. For me the thing that put this home above and beyond was the inside. The kitchen was fully stocked with yummy breakfast food and snacks as well as many different types of coffee creamers. The home was so comfy with cozy blankets and the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. My 22 month old grandson was with us and she provided many toys to keep him occupied and even a cute stuffed bear for him to take home. The home smelled amazing and was impeccably clean when we walked in which was incredibly inviting. Even though the house and property was enough to give this air bnb a five star rating Joanne herself was the key to why this it went above and beyond. She was available within minutes if we needed her, but we also had complete privacy. I highly recommend this property!

Absolutely wonderful
If I could leave 10 stars I would. This Lake House is everything and much more. The views from the house deck over looking the lake is breathtaking. Joanne the owner thought of everything, I mean EVERYTHING. She had fruit, cereal, bagels, breakfast burrito, snack. milk, Chips, snack cakes ,juices. The list go's on and on. Shampoo, soaps and conditioner in all bathrooms. You have all the convenience of home when you rent this house. The fire pit was a hugh hit. The boat dock was amazing. I have rented a lot of vacation rentals and this by far was the best expirence I have ever had. Joanne is an amazing host and such a kind person. She made sure we had everything we needed and more. This house was so clean and inviting. If you rent from her you will not be disappointed. We will definitly be back.

JoAnne's place is worth it for the view of the lake and dock access alone. Though the road to the lake house is winding, foggy and it can be tough to find the home at night, by sunrise you'll surpass your highest hopes from the photos in the listing.
The house's game area is fun, its living room cozy and bathrooms clean. But what really puts it over the top are all the considerate touches from the host: Snacks (Hostess, fresh fruit, Capri Sun, Yoo-Hoo, breakfast biscuits) in the fridge, coffee available any time of day, Bath & Body Works soap and fluffy towels in the bathrooms. JoAnne even printed off some necessary documents for us and brought them by in the morning. No question went unanswered, and just about everything you'd ever need to know is in the communications she sends.
My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer or catch some more warm Tennessee weather, but that just gives us an excuse to come back.

Great Spot on the Lake
