Diamond Beach Penthouse - Galveston

Owner-managed Caribbean beachfront resort conveniently located on the quiet West End of Galveston, directly on the beach (no crossing roads), best describes Diamond Beach. Our 2 bedroom/2 bath penthouse is located on the fifth floor at Diamond Beach Resort, which is unequivocally the preeminent resort in Galveston. We completed decorating recently. Diamond Beach Penthouse 5PH3 is a special vacation home for our family.

All of the condos at Diamond Beach have great views of the water but this is one of the few condos that has a view of the bay and the ocean. As you step inside the penthouse, you will be greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico. When you open the sliding glass doors, you will step onto your private oversized balcony with a 180 degree view of the bay and the gorgeous Gulf waters. The balcony is a great place to sip a cup of coffee in the morning before everyone wakes up or have a nice tropical drink in the evening with your family and friends.

The master bedroom in the penthouse opens up to a spectacular view of the Gulf. The bedroom is an oasis for rest and relaxation, starting with its chandelier, deluxe king- size bed, and 55-inch flat screen TV. The bathroom contains a wonderful rain-shower. The bathroom also has his and her sinks.

The 2nd bedroom has a deluxe king size bed and a 43 inch flat screen TV. The 2nd bath is across from the guest bedroom. The penthouse is tiled with stone floor and a washer/dryer.

The penthouse comes with a fully equipped kitchen and has granite counter tops. You’ll have 180 degree views of the ocean as you prepare waffles for breakfast or eat your favorite take-out foods from the large selection of restaurants within a short distance of Diamond Beach. The dining table seats 4 and the counter-stools sit 3, which is where the kids like to sit.

Diamond Beach boasts of many amenities including:

Concierge: A concierge desk open 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm for your convenience with a staff knowledgeable regarding the island’s best attractions and restaurants.

Pools: Three pools consisting of a 750 ft. lazy river with a swim up bar (open on weekends during summer months), a gigantic 300 ft. tiered cascading pool (which contains a kids’ pool), and Galveston’s only indoor heated pool for year-round enjoyment. The pools have plenty of lounge chairs or, if you want something more private, you can rent a cabana for the day. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. There is no longer a water slide in case you read it in older listings/reviews. 2. The indoor pool is the only heated pool. The outdoor pool and lazy river are not heated.

Poolside swim-up Bar: The pool bar is open Fri-Sun from Memorial Day to Labor day, and at other specified times. Check with the concierge for details.

Spa: Ruthys Spa is open on the 4th floor. Book your appointment and relax with one of the many wonderful treatments.

Gym: The Look Better in Your Swimsuit Center (aka The Exercise Room). Nowhere where you will find a state-of-the art gym with beautiful views of the pools and the Gulf!

Game Room. Tabletop shuffleboard, foosball, pin ball machines, golf simulator, and billiards table for the kids and sometimes even parents get to play.

Cinema Room: If you are in the mood to go to the movies, all you need to do is step into the private theater room at Diamond Beach while you enjoy a bag of popcorn.

Kids Jungle Room: With its jungle murals, games, blocks, oversized bean bags and TV, this is the place to be for the hip toddler crowd.

Business Center: If you must work, at least you’ll have great views of the indoor pool and beach.

Vending Machine: A soda vending machine is located on-site for your convenience.

Beach Access: If you have time to go to the beach after doing all of the activities at Diamond Beach Resort, all you need to do is open the door on the property next to the lazy river, take the path to the left, and walk down to the beach. Diamond Beach is located just steps away from the beach. There’s no need to cross the road or jump in the car. NOTE: There is only a path to the beach that is not conducive for wagons, or those with limited mobility.

FREE SECURED underground covered Garage Parking (1 vehicle) and FREE (Open) Outdoor Parking (1 vehicle); 2 vehicles maximum. Note parking may be limited during high-demand periods.

Diamond Beach is near everything. Just a few minutes car drive from: (i) entertainment (Moody Gardens; Miniature Golf; Schlitterbahn Waterpark; The Stand; Railroad Museum); (ii) golf courses (Moody Gardens Golf Course and Galveston Country Club), (iii) recreational activities (Seaside Bicycle Rentals; fishing for speckled trout, redfish, founder, golden croaker); bird watching (3/4 of all North American species travel through Galveston during fall and spring migration), (iv) restaurants (everything from McDonald’s to Gaido’s), and (v) lots of shopping.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Guests will be required to accept the terms and conditions of the Short Term Rental Agreement to stay at this property immediately upon booking. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the reservation. Guests will be required to sign the Diamond Beach Owners Association Waiver of Liability, Disclaimer, and Indemnity Agreement at the Diamond Beach Concierge prior to check-in. Note there are no lifeguards at the pools or the beachfront. Guests assume full liability, are expected to watch their children at all times, and swim at their own risk.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Breaking the following rules will result in immediate eviction with no refunds, and forfeiture of 100% of deposit: Exceeding the maximum number of guests (6), pets of any kind at any time in unit, smoking inside the unit or on the balcony. Further charges to the guest may be incurred to repair and clean the unit. Please do not book this unit if you intend to break these rules! Any fines imposed by the HOA for breaking the rules will be charged directly to the guest.
