Large studio in historical 19-century brownstone. Original woodwork, high ceilings, large windows and a lot of light. Private vanity with large closet. Gorgeous fireplace. Very bright and futures 2 twin size beds and work station.
Comes with AC. Place is simple, but with all necessities. Beddings are provided. All necessities are included.

Tolle Wohnung, sehr sauber, alles super! U-Bahn Nähe und Bus Nähe. Ca. 20 Minuten bis New York City, ruhige Gegend. Ich komme gerne wieder !

2 stars. Boiled down to 3 reasons: (1) The description was misleading. (2) The bathroom and kitchen were extremely unclean. (3) The other guests were extremely disruptive. Unless it has since been updated, the listing does not clearly indicate the unit is on the third floor and that the bathroom and kitchen are shared. Furthermore, the bathroom and kitchen were filthy. Of particular note was the lack of a bath mat (resulting in a very wet and very dirty floor) and the bags of rotting trash in the kitchen (which stank up the entire space). There were also disruptive guests making loud noises around 2am, which came to head when the whole building was forced to listen to very loud (and disconcerting) sex which woke up my friend. Maria was very prompt and very accommodating in giving us a different room and getting a cleaner out to the property. So, was this stay indicative of the property’s usual condition, or just bad luck? No idea, but I would be remiss not to share.

The stay is affordable, comfortable, and is a great choice for a trip to the city because it’s close to the metro (you can get on a blue or orange line to go to downtown or Brooklyn easily). The shower is clean with good temperature controls, there is ac in the room, and all the outlets worked well. Thank you Maria for a great place.
