You’re going to love our restored antique home, set on the banks of the Neshobe River, and located steps away from the restaurants and shops of beautiful Brandon, Vermont!

Located on a quiet street, our home has been lovingly restored over 2 years. We worked hard to maintain the character of an almost 200-year-old home while blending it with tasteful and modern updates. Renovations include a new kitchen with new appliances, two new bathrooms, sanded and refinished floors and new windows, and a giant wraparound deck out back.

Yet antique character can still be found in rustic exposed wood beams, uneven floors, and stairs that are a bit steeper than modern construction, packing this home full of charm!

This is a great option for skiers: our home is a short 28 miles to Killington Mountain, 22 miles to Pico Mountain, 41 miles from Okemo mountain, and 21 miles to Middlebury Snowbowl. For mountain bikers looking for flow trails, try Pine Hill Park in Rutland (16 m) and the Sherburne trails (24 m) near Killington.

But the best part of this home, is afterwards, you can walk to Brandon and enjoy our local brewery and restaurants.

Some important things to note:

Full and private access to home and yard. Guests have entire property to themselves during their stay.

There is dedicated off-street parking, but we have a 2-car maximum to prevent blocking the street. We are part of a residential neighborhood and strive to be respectful of our sweet neighbors.

The home is an almost 200-year-old home, and with that comes some quirky charm, such as uneven floors, steeper staircases, and fewer electrical outlets than some may be used to.

This is a pet-friendly property! We’re happy if you are able to bring your pet along, but please note we have a few additional rules:

• $75 pet fee will be applied per stay.
• We are unable to host cats and breeds of dogs deemed aggressive, per our insurance policy.
• No more than one (1) animal, not larger than 25 pounds
• We'd prefer to not have pets on the furniture, though we have provided a dog bed if necessary.
• Please do not leave your pet home alone unless crated (extra pooh bags and a small crate are provided if needed).

House Rules

The most important thing we ask for is to treat the home as you would as a guest staying in a friend's home.

1. If you are a local resident, you must contact us before booking.

2. No parties are allowed and we respectfully asked guests to keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm.

3. This is a pet-friendly property! We’re glad if you were able to bring your pet along, but please note we have a few additional rules:
• $75 pet fee will be applied per stay.
• We are unable to host cats and breeds of dogs deemed aggressive, per our insurance policy.
• No more than one (1) animal, not larger than 25 pounds
• We'd prefer to not have pets on the furniture, though we have provided a dog bed (because we know how dogs are...)
• Please do not leave your pet home alone unless crated (extra pooh bags and a small crate are provided if needed).

4. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).
--As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property.
--The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit.

5. There is NO SMOKING inside the home; guest acknowledges that no "smoking" includes the use of vape pens and marijuana. There will be a $250 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.

6. There cannot be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.

7. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos.

8. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera.

9. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will incur a $50 Mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage). We will do our best to send your items back to you within a week.

10. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.

11. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation.

Payment Policy

We accept credit cards on Square, but will consider Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle if we receive enough interest.

Refundable Damage Deposit

Damage deposits will be returned 4 business days after check-out, assuming no damage.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation if at least 21 days before check-in. If cancellation is between 14 & 21 days before check-in, 50% refund is available . After 14 days before check-in, no refund is due.

Notes

If additional cleaning is required beyond standard cleaning, or cigarette or marijuana smoke is found inside the cabin, an up to an additional $200 cleaning fee will be assessed.
