The Ibis Room is located in the main house of the Crane Creek Inn. Guests staying in this room have a private outdoor entrance, a private bedroom, a private bathroom, and an open-air porch/dining area. Ibis room guests also have access to a shared living area, dining area, and a full kitchen in the Inn, along with access to a continental breakfast.

The heated pool and all outdoor areas of the property are shared with other guests.

THE SPACE

Welcome to the Crane Creek Inn. Built in 1925, the historic property is situated directly on beautiful Crane Creek, just one block away from everything Downtown Melbourne has to offer.

The Ibis room is a truly luxurious and romantic room with a French theme and soothing colors, artwork, and linens. Enjoy your own whirlpool tub with a separate shower enclosure, Cherry wood Queen bed, and hardwood floors. French doors open to a personal covered deck with a dining table, comfortable chairs and a ceiling fan.

A basic *continental* breakfast will be provided to guests staying in the Heron, Ibis, and Osprey rooms only. You are welcome to help yourself to the food and drinks in the kitchen 24/7, and even fresh eggs from our chickens! Please keep personal food/drinks in the refrigerator in your room.

Being located in the same house as other rooms, we expect our guests to be quiet and respectful of each other at all times, keeping the noise level to a minimum.

If you are looking for a place to party, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat that feels secluded but is actually only steps from the heart of Downtown Melbourne, you've come to the right place!

House Rules

-Adults only (21+) -No unauthorized guests: Only those on the reservation are allowed on the property. -Do not tamper with or obstruct the outdoor security cameras in any way. -Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside or near the buildings. -No glass (drinking glasses, bottles, etc.) anywhere near the pool. -Do not move any furniture. -Do not view or download any illegal content via WiFi. -Please be respectful of your neighbors at all times. No loud music or TV. -Please close umbrellas after use. -Please leave the common areas as you found them and treat our property with respect. The above rules are in place for the safety, security, and comfort of our guests and the protection of the property. These should be straight-forward and easy to follow for 99% of guests. For those who choose to break the rules, please be aware of the following: *Tampering with or obstructing any security camera will result in a $500 fee, and you will be requested to immediately vacate the premises with no refund. *A fee of $500 will be assessed if there is any evidence of smoking (anything) inside the building. *A fee of $100 per additional person will be assessed if additional visitors not on the reservation enter the property without prior approval, and you will be requested to immediately vacate the premises with no refund - THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO HAVE PARTY. *A fee of $100 per animal will be assessed if you bring an unauthorized pet inside the building, and you will be requested to immediately vacate the premises with no refund. *We do NOT ask guests to do any cleaning beyond the items they use in the shared areas (ie, cookware/dishes/silverware, etc.) during their stay. We do NOT ask people to clean, strip beds, wash towels, or take out the trash, but we do expect people to treat our property with respect. If the space is left overly-dirty, to the point where it takes our housekeepers much longer than usual to clean, resulting in a higher fee charged to us, this fee will be passed on to the guest. We have almost never had to take any of the above actions for any of our properties and certainly don't ever want to. Please follow our simple rules and don't trash the place, so everyone (you, the other guests, our housekeepers, and your hosts) can have a 5 star experience. :) LIABILITY You as the guest shall indemnify and hold harmless the property host against any and all claims of personal injury or personal property damage or loss arising from the use of the premises, regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. Also, expressly recognize that any insurance for property damage or loss which the host may have does not cover your personal property. Payment Policy

When making a reservation, guests are required to provide payment in accordance with the following schedule: For reservation made more than 7 days prior to the check-in date, 50% of the total reservation cost must be paid at the time of booking, with the remaining 50% due 7 days before check-in. For reservations made less than 7 days before check-in, the full reservation cost will be charged at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY/TRAVEL INSURANCE
We understand that circumstances can change and guests may need to cancel their reservation. To facilitate this process, we have established the following cancellation and refund policy:

Guests who cancel their reservation more than 30 days prior to their scheduled check-in date will receive a full refund of the initial 50% payment made at the time of booking, less approximately 3% of the payment amount to cover non-refundable credit card fees. Guests who cancel their reservation between 7 and 30 days before check-in will not receive a refund of the initial 50% payment, but will not be charged the remaining 50% balance due 7 days before check-in, thereby receiving a 50% refund of the total reservation cost. Cancellations made within 7 days of the check-in date are non-refundable.

We hope that this policy is clear and transparent, and we encourage guests to contact us with any questions or concerns they may have prior to booking. We are running a small business and are not able to make exceptions to this policy to provide larger refunds if you need to cancel your reservation within 30 days of your arrival date for any reason, including due to any weather-related events, Covid-19, family emergencies, etc. It is also our policy to not accept any reservation change requests made within 30 days of your arrival date that involve moving your reservation dates into the future.

We strongly recommend that you obtain Travel Insurance for your trip in case of any unforeseen circumstances that could lead to you needing to cancel your reservation. A simple online search for "travel insurance" will provide you with many options.
