This A-frame style chalet is located on beautiful Potato Lake. If you’re looking for a true cabin experience, in a great location, look no further. This open concept, lakefront chalet is centrally located between Hayward and Spooner & 2 hours away from the Twin Cities. This 3 bedroom, 1 bath cabin sleeps 6. The chalet has a wall of windows facing the lake, with a ton of natural light. Guests will love the open concept great room that leads out to an oversized lakeside deck. Imagine sitting in a rocking chair, drinking your morning coffee and listening to the birds. It’s a perfect space for lounging, grilling and dining. We have a gas grill, four rockers and a large dining table with an umbrella on the deck to enjoy. Spend your days and evenings gathered with your loved ones in the screened in porch.

On the main level there is the master bedroom with a brand-new king-sized bed and another bedroom with a full over full size bunk bed. The third bedroom is in the loft that offers a brand new comfy queen bed and two twin size beds. The cabin is fully furnished and well stocked to meet your needs during your stay. You will love the freestanding woodstove for the cool nights.

The elevation is low to the waterfront (no big stairways to the lake), and the property's edge runs along the creek for privacy and seclusion. There are two fire pits. One near the cabin and the other down by the shore.

Potato Lake is a 224 acre, spring fed lake. It is large enough to legally ski on. This explains the weekend jet-skiers, tubing and activity on the lake. For the most part, Potato Lake is a quiet fishing lake, with plenty of pontoon boats and kayaks.

Generally the depth varies from 6-12 feet with a 30’ bowl that is straight out from our cabin.

Potato lake fishing is excellent and includes Bass, Northern Pike, and Panfish year-round. This four-season cabin is wonderful in the fall and winter as well. You can enjoy ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.

Bring your boat/pontoon or reach out to inquire about our pontoon rental. We have a pontoon available to rent (for experienced boaters).

An aluminum dock is accessible from our property for water access. The boat landing is right down our road. Snowmobile and ATV trails are down the road from the cabin. No need to trailer out.
