Meet, Little Nelly! The perfect haven for your adventures atop Lookout Mountain! This unique private hideaway offers quick & easy access to all nearby attractions. Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, horseback riding, caving, fishing, or golfing, there is lots to do & great places to eat nearby. Plan your ideal itinerary and be cozy at Little Nelly!

Cloudland Canyon (5 minutes)
McLemore Golf Resort and Cloudland Resort (15 min minutes)
Rock City Gardens (25 minutes)
Ruby Falls (30 minute drive)
Chattanooga (30 minute drive).

About The Space - This is a SMALL, private one-bedroom, one-bath, cabin-like haven. It features a separate entrance, and it is detached from the main house where other guests stay. It does not have a kitchen, but it features a tall mini fridge, microwave, electric water boiler, small coffee machine, and a Keurig coffee machine. The bed is a queen-size firm tempur-pedic mattress. No grill or outside seating area. Walks in Plum Nelly Village are highly encouraged. :)

Please note: To preserve the tranquility of the area, we have a strict quiet hour policy from 8 pm to 8 am. Plum Nelly Village is a peaceful collection of small wood cabins, and we truly value the community feel here. Feel free to say hello to other guests staying right next door, but we kindly ask for your help in maintaining the serene atmosphere once night falls. Thank you for being considerate of our wonderful neighborhood.

Parking: There is one designated parking spot for Little Nelly, it is right in front of the garage. If your car is big/long, feel free to park at an angle so the backend doesn’t block the gravel road. Extra parking for one more vehicle is to the left of the garage.

Entrance Door: To arrive at the entrance of your private, detached space you will go around the right-hand side of the garage and walk towards the backyard. It will be the second door on your left. The main house is a separate rental space fyi!

Meet The Host

Greetings! My name is Sam and my husband, Brian, and I are excited to be here!

It has been a true blessing to share our beloved short-term rental spaces with travelers like you, and we are so thankful for the love and kindness we get in return.

As Superhosts and Premier hosts across multiple short-term rental platforms, we take great pride in ensuring our guests have unforgettable stays. We go above and beyond to create a clean, warm, and welcoming atmosphere, offering specialized recommendations for memorable visits to the area.

Brian and I are homesteaders, and we are passionate about sustainable living! I enjoy making bread, cheese, butter, and kombucha, and Brian likes building stuff. He's working on our tiny cabin in the woods these days, and we recently planted 43 fruit trees on our farm in Tennessee! Soon, we'll have chickens and goats. We are looking forward to it all. :)

When we are not making tallow or hunting for deer and turkey, you'll find us taking a nap or spending quality time with our German Shepherd, Batty Koda, who is always up for an adventure.

Thank you for checking us out. Create community, be kind, be blessed, and be well!
