Notes
The building itself: almost all of my co-owners in the building are Airbnb users themselves. They are great people and many of them have actually booked with me to house visiting relatives. However, they have asked me to abide by some rules. I’ve implemented them in response to concerns my co-owners have raised with me.
The building itself: almost all of my co-owners in the building are Airbnb users themselves. They are great people and many of them have actually booked with me to house visiting relatives. However, they have asked me to abide by some rules. I’ve implemented them in response to concerns my co-owners have raised with me.
1) Quiet in the building's shared hallways after 10 PM and before 8 AM. (The apartments are not well-insulated, so noise between doesn't travel.)
2) No unattended luggage and/or waiting guests in the lobby of the building. Waiting for a taxi is fine--I'm talking about waiting for a longer period of time. (If you are here during a slow season, I may be able to accommodate your luggage or allow you to stay in the condo longer to make things easier.)
3) If you are meeting up with friends or family members from other cities, and they are also staying in the unit, you must inform them of the proper check-in time and procedures. Varying arrival times are not a problem, but unless we've made special arrangements, additional guests must arrive after 3 PM.
4) For obvious security reasons, co-owners do not want to be asked to let strangers into the building, nor do they want to answer the buzzer for a guest who has locked him or herself out, so please make sure you take a key out with you at all times.
5) Feel free to say hello to my fellow co-owners, but please remember they are unconnected with my Airbnb or Airbnb generally.
6) Please make sure you get the exact address, including the floor (2nd floor), which is included in the address.
7) Please do not hook up game consoles to the cable/TV system. If the system is interfered with, a $150 service call, which you may be billed for, may be the end result.
8) No smoking, in the condo or elsewhere inside the condo building.
9) No unauthorized guests. No deliveries apart from food deliveries.
10) Please leave the recycling in the unit--I will take it to a locked receptacle. If you're here for a few days and it starts to pile up, let me know and I'll come and collect it.
