Located 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and 20 minutes from downtown Ellijay in the beautiful Cherry Log Mountain community, Cherry Log Treehouse is perfectly situated near all of the attractions and amenities Blue Ridge has to offer!

The space

Enjoying a morning hike on the Benton MacKaye trail, which travels through the community and meanders past scenic lakes and lookout points. Relax and recharge on the deck overlooking a sweeping, majestic view, while roasting marshmallows and enjoying your favorite beverage.

Cook a gourmet meal in the fully upgraded kitchen, complete with graphite stainless steel appliances, electric oven/cooktop and granite countertops. Enjoy your culinary creations in the window encased dining room while watching the daylight drift away. Cap off your evening by staying cozy next to the gas log fireplace and catch up on your favorite shows on the 65” smart tv.

Cherry Log Overlook offers a relaxing mountainside escape with the convenience of nearby grocery stores, boutique shops, wineries and breweries.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome as long as the pet policy is adhered to. There is a one-time $100 fee per stay which covers up to two dogs. Please note the fee is a separate charge sent over after booking is confirmed. Per Airbnb's policy ESA's are not considered service animals and are therefore subject to host's pet fees.

Guest access
The lower exterior steps and lower deck are for crawlspace access and not intended to be used by guests as there are not any amenities on this level.
Other things to note
Fortunately, Cherry Log Overlook is easily accessible as it is located on a wide one-lane, well-maintained mountain road in a large mountain community. Note there is ample opportunity to allow other vehicles to pass if necessary. The full route is paved, with the exception of the last 900 feet, which is a well-maintained gravel road. Four-wheel drive is not necessary.

We welcome young families, however please keep in mind the cabin is on a mountain, therefore it does not have a flat grassy area and supervision of small children is necessary.

This is an ideal family/couples getaway location. Groups should be aware that neighbors are visible and close enough that loud noise and/or loud music will be disruptive.

We typically decorate for Christmas, though timing of decoration set up and take down varies. Decorations consist of a Christmas tree and stockings.

Weather conditions and county issued burn bans may affect guests’ ability to use the fire pit or grill. We follow all burn ban rules for the safety of everyone. Weather conditions are beyond the owner’s control.
