The cabin is great! Clean, comfortable, well stocked, and very friendly to dogs. I really enjoyed my stay and the beauty of Northern AZ! One thing to note: Young is a pretty rural town. I had no issues with it, but if you don't feel comfortable in small towns, it's something to be aware of!

Lauren was a great host and the cottage was exactly as described. It was quiet and comfortable, just what I was looking for. The fenced yard was perfect for relaxing while my dog and I enjoyed the cooler (than Phoenix!) outdoors. I was a little bummed that we only saw a few deer and squirrels...no other wildlife. But probably for the best. Ha!

Lauren’s place was spotless, comfortable and peaceful. Linens were soft and breathable, towels enough for 4, washer/dryer worked great, and the kitchen had everything you need. The fenced in yard was great for enjoying evenings at sunset, grilling burgers and sipping wine on the porch swing with our dog. But the most enjoyable part of the stay was appreciating all the little hand written notes and small gestures in the space that made us feel welcome and comfortable. From little snacks available after a long drive, to feminine products in the bathroom when I didn’t realize I’d need them … Lauren obviously enjoys making strangers feel welcome and at home, she epitomizes a great host. We would definitely stay again.

It was perfect getaway for two. a nice cozy place just lounge around all day and enjoyed nature or go out for hikes and walks. nice fenced in area for small to medium dogs. we had our terrior Chihuahua mix and he had a blast.
