Welcome to the Retreat & Club Edition Finesse!

The Studio was just reconstructed and it is based on an original structure that is over 200 years old.

A charming and traditional 3 level stone house located in the stunning seaside village of Maroni, the location offers an incredibly view of the sea and the landscape.

Maroni is a historic fishing village perfectly located between Larnaca, Limassol and Nicosia. If you plan to relax and discover the island, this is the place to be!
The Retreat is a traditional old stone Cypriot sandstone house and it is laid out in this way:

1. Inner Courtyard which leads to three apartments including the Studio apartment and a arch room which is a Club Restaurant that offers you breakfast every morning.

2. Roof Terrace on the top level with a stunning view of the sea and landscape - perfect for romantic dinners and great conversations with friends

3. The Studio have bedroom king size bed 200cm by 180cm with its own balcony for a coffee with seaview in the morning. All apartments in the Retreat have an AC and a fan.

4. The new created bathroom have a 1/3 spiral rainshower that is tiled with white marble and blue mosaic tiles. It have a white marbel floor. The sinks are special: When we renovated the house we found big hard stones which we transformed into sinks. Each have its own character.

6. The Studio have its own small but full equipt Kitchen. But you also welcome to use our monthly menu from the Retreat Club Restaurant.

Finally, please note that the house is old and beautiful combined with modern elements in the court and finish of kitchen and bath rooms. It has a cozy homely feel and at the same time luxury high-end finish.

As all village houses in Cyprus, it can have ants, spiders and lizards as occasional visitors :) !!!

Tolle Unterkunft und Gastgeber. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Schöne Strände sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Das angebotene Frühstück war gut. Das Internet ist ausreichend für Online Meetings.

Christoph ist ein perfekter Gastgeber. Gibt Dir super Tipps. Und wenn man bei Ihm in den Genuss von seinen Hochkünsten kommt ist alles rund herum perfekt. Weiter so es war ein genialer kurzer Aufenthalt und wenn ich das nächste mal wieder nach Zypern komme wohne ich wieder bei Ihm Gruss Martin

Christoph und seine Frau sind sehr gastfreundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber und helfen einem gerne mit Rat und Tat aus. Christoph ist zudem ein super Koch, das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Apartement ist schön, sauber und verfügt über alles was man braucht. Zumindest im Moment ist das Apartment aber nichts für Langschläfer: im Moment wird der Keller des Gebäudes ausgebaut und wir wurden um ca. 7 Uhr vom Baulärm geweckt. Als störend empfanden wir auch, dass der Schlafbereich aufgrund der lichtdurchlässigen Fensterläden und der Glastüre nur minim abgedunkelt werden kann. Wir haben uns ausgeholfen, indem wir Badetücher vor Fenster und die Tür gehängt haben - das funktionierte prima. die Glastüre wird gemäss Christoph demnächst einmal noch ausgetauscht. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung des Apartments.

Response:Danke für Dein Feedback. Ja die Tür tauschen wir aus und wir nehmen Deine Anregung auf. Wir dachten Fensterläden reichen, aber werden jetzt Blackout Gardinen installieren. Wegen dem Morgenlärm tut uns leid es waren die letzten Arbeiten an dem neuen zweiten Apartment. Die sind jetzt beendet und dann ist es gewohnt Stil in Maroni :)

A casa di Christoph troverete tutto ciò di cui avete bisogno. L'alloggio è in un'ottima posizione per poter visitare l'intera isola e Christoph vi darà tutte le informazioni necessarie e molti consigli per vivere al meglio Cipro. Il villaggio è tranquillo, lontano dal caos ma ben servito (supermercati e ristoranti nelle vicinanze). Christoph inoltre è un ottimo cuoco e fa ottimi cappuccini ed espressi, con una macchina da caffè italiana! Ottima comunicazione per organizzare l'arrivo ed anche una volta lì Christoph è sempre disponibile per aiutare i suoi ospiti.

This place is fantastic! There is plenty of room for 4 people, and could be enough for even more. The air conditioning and fans work very well, which made us feel comfortable in the hot weather outside. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, we even made some cold drinks in the blender. In the evenings we enjoyed the spacious terrace watching the moon. Wifi worked well, the bathroom is very clean. The owner Christoph was very friendly to us and helped a lot during our stay. It is 2 minutes to the nearest minimart and local restaurant. The nearest beach is 5 minutes by car, the rest 10-15 minutes. Christoph gave us lots of tips on car rentals, taxi and beaches to visit, so feel free to take advantage of those tips. It was a great time at this house, we can't wait to come here!

отдыхали 05.07.21, учитывая , что мы туристы со стажем и большим опытом , наши ожидания были вознаграждены , нам все очень понравилось , конечно воспользоваться виллой , можно только с арендным авто , замечательное месторасположение, 4 км до линии моря и 6 км до скоростной магистрали . чудный национальный колорит дома и деревни Морони . гостеприимство хозяина . в доме есть все , что нужно мы уже имели опыт жизни в жарких странах в частных домах , он заключается в том , что ни одна крошка не должна упасть со стола или остаться на посуде или в мойке , иначе сразу придут муравьи . выполняйте это правило , соблюдайте правила дорожного движения и будет вам счастье . Рекомендую опытным туристам . оценка 5 из 5 .

Christoph ist ein wahrer herzlicher Gastgeber der sich um die Belange und Wünsche seiner Gäste kümmert. Informationen rund um Zypern z.B. der Geschichte und der Gegenwart sowie die Aussichten in der Zukunft informiert und dadurch entsteht eine Beziehung zu Zypern, den Zyprioten und den eingebürgerten Menschen , der Natur sowie den Stränden und den Bergen und den Städten wie Limassol, Larnaka, Pafos, Nicosia etc. Darum möchte ich Euch, liebe zukünftige Gäste von Christoph Ihn echt empfehlen. Ich durfte seine herzliche Art kennen lernen, der mehr ein Geber ist und nicht vom Volk der Nehmer kommt. Er weiß im Universum gleicht sich immer alles aus. z.B. zufriedene Gäste und vieles darüber hinaus. Ich war jetzt das erste Mal für 14 Tage auf Zypern und fühlte mich gleich wohl und so lernte ich vieles von Christoph kennen, was meinen Urlaub wunderbar und rund machte. Und der zusätzliche Hammer war was ich erleben durfte, das Christoph ohne wenn und aber überaus hilfreich war! Meine Absicht nach Zypern auswandern stand nicht auf meiner Agenda bei und oder durch Christoph. Doch durch seine Art und seiner mega guten Kontakten, unterstützte er mich so dass meine Zuwanderung nach Zypern umgesetzt werden konnte. Seine Kontakte die auch Ihn als hilfsbereiten Menschen kennen, stand meinem Ziel nichts im Wege! Dank seiner Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen, rund um die Zuwanderung ist mehr als eine Hilfe gewesen. Ich bin sehr sehr dankbar. Und ich kann euch Christoph, als Mensch mit dem Herz am rechten Fleck, wirklich empfehlen egal ob Ihr Urlaub machen möchtet und oder die Insel kennen lernen möchtet und oder vielleicht auch nach Zypern einwandern möchtet völlig egal denn bei Ihm ist alles ist mega super koordiniert. Ich danke Christoph für alles und für das Teilen seines Wissens und bedingt dadurch lebe ich in Kürze auf Zypern. Übrigens die Zyprioten und die Menschen auf der Insel sind tiefen entspannt, die Ihre Insel lieben und das wird auch euch ansprechen, sozusagen auf euch überspringen. Ihr wird es so fühlen wie ich. И даже в январе Кипр прекрасен. Деревня Марони необычайно красивая и какая-то волшебно уютная:), особенно старая ее часть с узкими каменистыми улочками, черепичными крышами, такое чувство возникало иногда, что попал в сказку. А вид с террасы дома – это непередаваемо ни через фото, ни через видео, нужно просто стоять и смотреть… и можно очень долго любоваться тем, что открывается твоим глазам. Ну а если вы зайдете в дом к Христофу, то и здесь вас ждут удивление, интерес и понимание того, что каждая вещь в этом доме имеет свою историю, в одном месте собраны вещи из разных частей света и разных культур. Невероятный уют создает камин в доме, а тепло от огня согревает и наполняет силой. Христоф очень гостеприимный, добрый и отзывчивый человек. Это место – сам дом, деревня, - теперь надолго в моей памяти.
