This quaint studio has all the comfort and more as it has been fitted with crown molding, bamboo floors, king size bed and custom made furniture. The setting is elegant yet homey and the kitchen is set aside from the main living area and is fully equipped…no kitchenette here;-)



If you like tranquility this is the perfect 'pied à terre' as the studio overlooks the internal patio but with views on other buildings which are not restored yet so you get a glimpse of the authentic life of the real Casco's inhabitants.



LOCATION:



It is next to the famous “La Merced” Church which façade was transported stone by stone after the 1st city (Panama La Vieja) was destroyed…the building was actually the living quarters of the monks;-)



The condo is steps away from restaurants, bars & cafés, the famous Plaza Cathedral with the Museum of the canal & the up-coming Plaza Herrera which will soon host 2 boutique Hotels.



NEIGHBORHOOD:



Casco Viejo (also known as Casco Antiguo) is an effervescent neighborhood with its beautiful restored colonial buildings, home to the President Palace, the French Embassy and a gorgeous promenade with awesome views to the city's skyline as well as the Amador Causeway (entrance of the Panama Canal).



It also offers fine dining and entertainment with the National Theatre, great outdoor cafés for a nice drink on one of the charming plazas which is an enjoyment by itself!



Its perfect location between down-town and Amador, a 5 to 10 Min’s taxi ride, makes it a conveniently central “pied-a-terre”!

A great stay in the heart of Old Panama
My fiance and I had a wonderful time here on vacation. It was centrally located, easy to check-in and had top notch amenities. The apartment was well decorated and having access to laundry was really nice. The hosts were excellent and were extremely accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again or at any of their other properties!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, sehr gut geschlafen, es ist ruhig und man ist trotzdem mitten im Zentrum der Altstadt. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, alles ist sauber und was man brauchen könnte, ist auch vorhanden. Panama City ist eine wunderbare Stadt und diese Unterkunft ein kleines Juwel. Patty und Rudy sind immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und erreichbar. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen! Wer also noch am überlegen ist, welche Unterkunft er buchen soll...diese hier:)

The studio was more spacious and comfy than we expected - and very quite. It is situated in a lovely neighborhood, walking distance to many good restaurants and a couple of small supermarkeds. We couldn’t be happier, and will recommend to family and friends. The transfer from and to the airport with Rudy was the best way to start and end our stay. Patti was always attentive and gave us good recommendations on sightseeing and restaurants.

I am Patty and along with my husband Rudy we manage our 5 properties under the beautiful sun of Panama!
We are an international couple that have lived in many different countries and decided to call Panama our home...Rudy is from here & Patty from Germany.

We offer our guests 2 beautiful properties in Casco Viejo a UNESCO World Heritage Site & also 2 awesome condos in Amador by the Causeway at the entrance of the Panama Canal...these 4 properties are located in the city and for the ones that want to relax we offer our gorgeous Villa in the mountain (45 minutes from the city).

For the convenience of our guests we also offer airport transfers & tours as Rudy is a licensed tour guide and loves to share the history, nature & diversity of his beautiful country with happy guests since 2006 - highly rated on TripAdvisor under "Rudy's Tours".

We do not allow visitors unless discussed prior to the stay for the safety of our neighbors and guests. No gathering are allowed.
Payment Policy
We accept any credit cards however our rates don't reflect the processing fees that are occurred through the payment site we use - the fees are 5.5% of the total amount.

Otherwise we can receive payments by ACH for USA account holders and have also local accounts in Canada, Europe & U.K. to receive free local transfers with our WISE account.

We are happy to accept Bitcoins!

Refundable Damage Deposit
At check-out day after walking though the condo.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our intimate size any cancellation affects us significantly...therefore we advise you to buy a TRAVEL INSURANCE that covers you for "ANY REASONS".

For cancellations more than 90 days prior to arrival, there is a fee of $50.00.

For cancellations between 90 days and 60 days prior to arrival date 15% of the total amount (minimum rate of 1 night) of the rent will be retained and from 60 days to 45 days prior to arrival date 30% (i.e. the full deposit) of the total amount will be retained.

There are no refunds for cancellations less than 45 days prior to arrival (minus the end of cleaning fee) unless we can re-book the exact same dates - we will credit you (for a future stay - same amounts of nights) proportionally to the days we manage to re-book (-US$50 cancellation fee).

We don't want to make money of cancellations but also don't want to be loosing out since this is our income...you can be assured that we will do our best to re-book...so the sooner you tell us about the cancellation the more probability we have to re-book all of your stay!

There will be no refund for cancellation of days which are a portion of your stay...or due to flight delays, cancellations or weather conditions...thank you for your understanding.

Bank expenses will be retained.

Patty and Rudy met us and showed us around and gave us a full explanation of the whole area! They are both lovely people and the accommodations were superb! Absolutely loved the condo and the location! Would definitely stay there in the future!

A wonderful studio with everything you need and the kindest and friendliest hosts. We have stayed at their other property in the same building and everything is always first class. Nothing is too much trouble and all the details make a huge difference to the holiday experience.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, sehr gut geschlafen, es ist ruhig und man ist trotzdem mitten im Zentrum der Altstadt. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, alles ist sauber und was man brauchen könnte, ist auch vorhanden. Panama City ist eine wunderbare Stadt und diese Unterkunft ein kleines Juwel. Patty und Rudy sind immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und erreichbar. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen! Wer also noch am überlegen ist, welche Unterkunft er buchen soll...diese hier:)

The studio was more spacious and comfy than we expected - and very quite. It is situated in a lovely neighborhood, walking distance to many good restaurants and a couple of small supermarkeds. We couldn’t be happier, and will recommend to family and friends. The transfer from and to the airport with Rudy was the best way to start and end our stay. Patti was always attentive and gave us good recommendations on sightseeing and restaurants.
