Chalet Le Renard-Oasis of Nature with Hot Tub - Orford

BOOKING AND HOUSE RULES. By booking at le chalet Le Renard, you agree to the following rules, aimed at ensuring all guests have the best experience possible. 1. The chalet is nested in a beautiful and peaceful area and these house-rules are meant to ensure that our guests have the best experience possible at the chalet. 2. We kindly ask that you be always mindful of the other residents around the chalet. The chalet is not appropriate for partying, playing loud music and making excessive noise. These types of activities are not permitted inside or outside the chalet and therefore, you should not book a stay at the chalet if this is the travel experience you are looking for. The chalet is equipped, outside and inside, with noiseaware devices that detect excessive noise levels. We are very mindful of your your privacy; these devices only have the capacity to detect noise levels. They cannot snoop or record conversations. 3. When making your reservation, please mention who will accompany you and how many guests in total will stay with you. Only the persons mentioned in your reservation can stay at the chalet. If you intend on having have other persons on-site, including for a portion of your stay (for example because you want to organize a BBQ outside with friends who are in the area or invite friends over to share diner), you must inform us in advance of your stay and request our prior approval. 4. Check-in is possible any time after 4:00 p.m. Checkout is before 11:00 a.m. You may request to arrive early or to leave after 11:00 a.m., and if possible, we will be happy to accommodate your request. There might be a $50 extra fee applicable, if our cleaning team is very busy on the day you would like us to accommodate a late check out. 5. The chalet is non-smoking. Therefore, smoking cigarettes, weed or to vape is not permitted inside the Chalet. 6. There are three parking spots. Please note that it is not permitted to park cars in the street, as per the municipality rules. 7. We love dogs! We may therefore allow one small adult dog per booking (i.e., older than 12-months). If you want to bring over your dog, please take not of the following: a. You agree to not book a stay with us before confirming that we can host your four-legged friend. Before booking, contact us directly to provide us details about your dog (size, weight) and obtain our prior approval. b. To respect other guests and residents, it is very important that you ensure that you clean up after your dog, including outside and in the areas around the chalet. c. Please keep you dog on leash at all times, when outside. If you want to leave your dog off leash, google “catchpaw park”, it is a dog park - 4 min drive from the chalet. c. Dogs are not allowed on furniture (including beds and sofa). d. Please ensure that you clean up your dogs paws each time the dog comes into the chalet after being outside. Our shower is very dog/paw friendly if needed. e. If our cleaning team finds dog hair or other animal traces on furniture or (e.g., dirt from paws, dog food, etc.) or if you have not cleaned up after your dog (e.g., dog poop in the backyard) you agree to be charged a $ 200 extra fee cleaning fee. This extra fee is in addition to the regular dog cleaning fee (i.e., the regular dog cleaning fee is a fee charged to all guests that bring over their dogs). 8. If the chalet is left in a messy state, an extra charge of $50 applies per additional hour for each housekeeping attendant required to put the chalet back in order. Messy state includes, for example: towels stained beyond what is reasonable (e.g., dirty soil on towel), stained furniture, dirty dishes left in the kitchen, furniture that has been moved and not replaced where it was initially, etc. Furthermore, if you delay the work of the cleaning team at check-out, an extra fee of $75 applies to cover their extra time. This charge is applied to any late departure between 11:00 and 1:00pm. Any guest who is still at the Chalet after 1:00 p.m. will be charged a fee amounting to the cost of an additional night (based on the average daily rate paid by the guest for the stay). Of course, this does not apply if we have approved a late departure in advance. 9. At the end of the rental, the hot tub water must be as clean as when you arrived and there should be as much water in the hot tub as when you checked in. 10. 11. There are stairs to get to the chalet and the chalet has a set of stairs to get into the rooms. If you bring over young children, please note that there are no child barriers at the chalet, nor any barriers around the fireplace. You must ensure that you act diligently while at the Chalet and you assume full responsibility for any accident, injury or illness occurring during your stay. By booking at Le Renard, all guests expressly assume the risk of any damage arising from their use of the premises. 12. In the winter, there may be snow falling from the roof. To avoid injuries, it is very important to always walk along the wall of the chalet when going to and from the hot tub. 12. If you notice anything that may be a danger to the chalet or people or if anything is missing or is broken or not to your satisfaction, you agree to let us know immediately. 13. Tempering, deactivating or unplugging the wifi, router, security system, outdoors cameras or electrical panel is prohibited. 14. If you forget your personal belongings when you leave, please inform us as soon as possible. If we locate your belongings, we can ship them to you if requested. In such a case, a $50 fee will apply, in addition to the actual shipping fee & packaging expenses we will incur. 15. What happens if you do not comply with the house-rules? In addition to any extra fees specified in these rules and any damage that we may incur for breach of these rules, we will unfortunately have to end your reservation immediately, without refund. This means that your stay will be interrupted, and you will need to leave the chalet immediately. Examples of situations that may lead to such consequences include partying / making excessive noise (e.g., neighbor complaint about noise), any noisy activity during the chalet’s quiet hours, bringing over other individuals to the chalet (inside or outside) than those mentioned in your reservation, neighborhood complaints, smoking inside the chalet, bringing over an animal without first having requested and obtained our authorization to do so. 16. A $500 security deposit might be asked to cover any damage or fee related to a stay at the chalet, including if you wish to bring a dog. 17. The BBQ is accessible only to guests who check-in between April 1st and September 30. 18. At the time of checking out, please ensure that you adhere to the departure instructions, lock all doors, and close all windows. If any light furniture has been moved, make sure to return it to its original position as it was upon your arrival. Moving bedroom furniture, dining room furniture, sofas, rugs, storage furniture, or light fixtures is not permitted. 19. During your stay, when you are not at the chalet, please ensure that you lock all doors and close all windows. Failure to do so may result in damage (e.g., water damage). 20. All sports equipment must be left outside the chalet (e.g., skis, snowboards, bikes, etc.). As we do not have a dedicated storage space, please ensure that your equipment is securely locked (e.g., in your car or with your own locking device). 21. When you make a reservation with us, you agree to all of the above house rules, and you certify that all other guests that will accompany you agree and will comply with these rules.
