A brand new work and family-friendly apartment with full amenities (air-con, cable, Wifi, games, and books) in a free street parking area by the river and the major sites.



Walk to the Lisbon's top touristic sights (MAAT, Monastery of Jeronimos, Tower of Belem, Palacio da Ajuda), profit from the riverside (go jogging, cycling, sailing, skating) and indulge in many of Lisbon culinary hotspots: namely the unique Pastéis de Belém!
Since we live/work/study abroad, we are happy that you stay with us and take care of our home when we are away.



After many years in pursuit of the right place, we have finally managed to secure a base in Lisbon where we can come regularly, keep some of our favourite family heirlooms and enjoy the maps to prepare for the next adventures!



Hope you enjoy Casa do Mapa as much as we do. Treat it as nicely as you treat yours back home.



The bedrooms are upstairs and require that you climb stairs that some guests find steep. Thus may not be recommended for those with mobility challenges.



A great workcation base as there is a dedicated desk with light and lamp upstairs and the dining table can work as an office table too.

I loved my stay here, for a small apartment I was baffled at how big the whole thing felt. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful. It was walking distance to the places I wanted to go and I loved how cute the place was. Our host was great and very communicative letting us know what the rules and how to get to the places, documents needed etc. I thought it was a great value compared to the other Airbnbs around this one was beautiful and comfortable.

I had an amazing stay at Joana's place! The apartment is beautifully decorated with tasteful furniture, and the location couldn’t be better—my new favorite café and restaurant were just a short walk away, and it’s close to all the attractions, making it easy to beat the crowds. The view of the sunrise and the Lisbon bridge is breathtaking. Communication was quick and seamless, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Muy lindo airbnb, es super completo con todas las comodidades y esta muy cerca de los puntos turísticos de belem pero algunas cosas a tener en cuenta: la escalera que lleva a la habitación es muy empinada y angosta por lo cual no pude subir mi valija (lleve una grande) por la misma razon mantuve todo en la planta baja y era complicado para mí. El barrio es una zona muuuuy tranquila y residencial está alejado de la multitud por lo que salir de noche caminando no me gustó (Viaje sola). Ademas al frente hay como casas sin porton y tuve 3 encuentros con hombres del barrio que no me gustaron (tiraban besos, se quedaban observando, había uno bajo sustancia). No diría que es inseguro porque no me pasó nada pero es mi perspectiva de mujer joven viajando sola. Apesar de eso es un lindo airbnb cálido para quienes viajen con amigos o pareja. Por mis propios gustos personales preferiría una zona mas centrica pero fue desconcimiento. Por suerte esta a 20 min en bolt de todo.

Joana's home was beautiful, quiet, and a quick walk to restaurants and sights such as Jerominos Monestary. We were in a tough spot when our previous accomodation fell through on our first day in Lisbon, but Joana responded quickly when we reached out and sorted out our stay within an hour! She continued to be there for us with restaraunt/Fado recommendations throughout our stay. We'd recommend her apartment to anyone making a trip to Lisbon! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Amazing property, exactly as it is listed. Served as a great base with peace and quite. It is slighty far from the city center where you have all the local attractions, restaurants, bars etc. However, it is definitely worth it if you value your sleep and it is only 15-20 mins away with the ride sharing apps which only costs about 4 euros. Joana was also very helpful and responsive when needed and tried to help as much as possible. Cannot recommend more.

Host the as very responsive to all our needs. Place us very quiet, great for a restful sleep after a day of sightseeing. Conveniently located, 10 min walk to the river and the museums. Many great restaurants within walking distance. Also ample parking if you are driving. Important note that Bedroom with double bed and 2 single beds are in the attic space via a steep staircase. Not ideal if you have young children or have mobility issues. We had a wonderful restful stay.

I love Portugal and like simple but beautiful things, clean and organized. Over time have been building my favorite city, beach and country side (soon) escapes in Portugal, places to pile our family/friends bags/suitcases.
