This is a large house with lots of room. My family really enjoyed the Pac-Man, board games, kites, side walk chalk, hot tub, and all the space to walk and enjoy God’s beautiful creation. We also really appreciated the stocked spice cabinet and the black stone on the porch so we could cook our own meals, and the snacks left for us. It felt homey and cozy, would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area. Thank you so much for everything!

Response:I loved pulling up and seeing the awesome chalk the kiddos left on the driveway! My kids love to draw all over it when we are there.

We arrived to find the cabin beautiful, cozy, and perfect for our extended family. There were 10 of us, 5 under 5. We felt right at home and had plenty of space for everyone and all the extras we brought. The deck was great and the view amazing. A great home close enough to local attractions to enjoy time exploring, but far enough away from town to enjoy nature and an early morning sunrise. The hosts were very quick to respond and provide lots of ideas for entertaining our kids.

A beautiful cabin in the Colorado mountain side with a view of Pikes Peak. We immediately felt at home, the cabin is well appointed and comfortable. The views from the deck are stunning and we enjoyed countless sunrises. If you’re looking for a mountain side retreat, this is highly recommended.

We had the most amazing stay with gracious and responsive hosts! The cabin was just perfect. Every single detail, from kitchen set up to linens, was thoughtfully curated and there was lots of comfortable, clean and well appointed space to sit and take in the breathtaking views. The sunrises are especially spectacular! There are also several cute towns for shopping, eating and touring nearby and lots of outdoor activities available, with a nice hike just paces away from the front doorstep. Would recommend for parties large and small-and we will definitely schedule another visit.

The home was beautiful, yet comfortable. We have rented homes in the past, but this one, by far, was very well stocked with everything we might need. I would recommend renting this home without any hesitation. Thank you for your hospitality.

Amazing Views, backs up to national forest. This place was great. Plenty of room to stretch out, both inside and out. Giant master bedroom with bath updstaiirs. Main floor had two bedrooms with two living areas, a giant kitchen and dining area and a huge front porch which looked directly to the East. Sitting up high, we had spectacular views and watched the sun come up many mornings. Very secluded and quiet, yet on a good road. Hosts bent over backwards when setting this location up for guests. All the bathrooms had great amenities, the pantry had all sorts of oils, spices and pretty much everything you need to cook besides the food. Nice laundry area with lots of cleaning supplies. Very easy to work with the hosts and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is only a couple miles from Canon City so you get the seclusion of the mountains and the closeness of what the city has to offer.

House Rules
I would appreciate it if you could follow the house rules. First and foremost, enjoy your stay. I hope you enjoy the ambiance. I’m sure you’ll do your best to preserve it. 1. I will ask you not to smoke or vape inside the cabin or in the garage, please. Anywhere outside is ok but ask that you dispose of all trash and be mindful not to throw butts outdoors. We live in an arid area, and wildfires often happen. 2. Please do not have a fire in the fire pit outside if it’s windy. No fireworks or any other fires outside besides at the fire pit during low wind conditions. Please put it out when you are done. 3. We are pet friendly but please clean up if your pet makes a mess. You will find food and water bowls variety of toys for your animal in the baskets in the garage. Please be careful leaving your dog outside alone, downstairs. Our dogs have been able to dig under the wire fence. There are tie-downs in the side yard for extra security if you need them. We understand that accidents can happen. If they do, you can find a Bissell Little Green carpet and floor cleaner in the garage on the shelf. 4. Do not hike alone, stay outside alone, or leave kids or pets outside alone. There are bears and mountain lions commonly spotted on the property. 5. Please don’t let kids play outside unsupervised. There is never a shortage of construction projects where we live and we don’t want any kids playing near timbers or equipment and there are a lot of steep places on the mountain. Please stay away from the RV, barn and the outdoor workshop area behind the barn, the tractor and trailers. The rest of the property and the trampoline are all yours. 6. The hot tub lid is on but it is not locked so please don’t leave kids outside on the patio alone. To be safe, we locked up all the chemicals. BEFORE YOU GO Load and start the dishwasher. Place all used towels in bathtubs. Strip beds of linens and leave them on the floor.
