Bella Vita (Beautiful Life) is a ONE LEVEL-VERY CLEAN home with Central Heat and Air in the Mountains of Maggie Valley, NC. Your vacation starts in a private setting with easy paved roads. You will enjoy the mountain view when relaxing, barbecuing, or dining on either of the two private decks as well as when you are sipping a cold drink while watching the colorful hummingbirds, songbird’s, deer, wild turkeys and the occasional black bear who visit the property.

After a day of hiking or sightseeing activities, you will appreciate all the amenities of this Non-Smoking one level home such as central heat and air conditioning, wood floors throughout, stone gas fireplace, refrigerator, ice maker, electric oven/stove, microwave and full-size washer and dryer. The fully equipped kitchen also includes everything you would need for a gourmet or a quick family dinner. You can enjoy a cup of coffee and a biscotti, that is provided, as you wake up to the view of the wonderful mountains. Besides relaxing in the great room, which has lots of windows to enjoy the view, you may want to enjoy the smart TV (55") or wireless high speed internet access for all your electronic devices.

For those families working remote, you will appreciate all the USB ports available throughout the cabin, to charge your many devices and the granite topped desk with lamp with USB ports located in the dining room. We also have paper, pens and other remote working items. Of course, you are always welcome to work on either of the two decks while enjoying the great outdoors or next to the fireplace with the remote in hand. You could also just take a break and make some s’mores on the fire pit on the deck.

For a great night's sleep, the master bedroom includes a king size bed and a private bath. It also features a 50” smart TV and access to the private deck to enjoy your morning coffee while catching up on the news, watching the songbirds or just taking in all that nature has to offer. Our winter guest can also enjoy the heated mattress pad on both the king size beds for a cozy nights sleep. The second bedroom includes a king bed and a 43” smart TV. The third bedroom has two twin beds.

During your stay, If you have a special occasion and would like to hire a personal chef to cook a special meal, please let us know as we have a few we can refer you to.

Unmatched Excellence - In Every Way
This year our annual Christmas tree-cutting getaway brought us to Maggie Valley. We have been staying in vacation rental properties since long-before it was the “trendy” thing to do!... so many that we’ve lost count! But without question – Bella Vita and its wonderful host, Lisa are the standard of excellence against which we’ll now judge all future rental properties! Our stay was absolutely perfect in every way. Upon our arrival, we found the beautiful home decorated for Christmas – truly magical! And as we got settled, we realized that Bella Vita was even more wonderful than its listing pictures and descriptions could capture!... spacious; breathtaking views from the many windows and balconies; meticulously organized, generously and specially supplied, and spotlessly cleaned; tastefully decorated and so comfortable; the kitchen – a cook’s absolute dream; the bed and linens… so cozy; special touches everywhere including seed to fill the deck birdfeeder (which gave us hours of joy watching the antics of feathered visitors of every kind); an amazing coffee and biscotti bar; s’mores supplies, dog treats; specialty toiletries; and extensive and up-to-date information on “everything Maggie Valley”. Although we would have been more than happy just “staying-put” for our 4 days – puzzling, reading and relaxing in front of the lovely gas fireplace – we “forced ourselves out” and enjoyed 2 yummy breakfasts (Joey’s Pancake House and The Buttered Biscuit); a magnificent walk around Lake Janaluska; a stroll through lovely downtown Waynesville (especially the Mast General Store); and a beautiful drive through the mountains and valleys on the NC Highway 209 “Rattler”. The perfect end to our time was choosing and cutting a gorgeous tree with the help of the great team at Mehaffey Tree Farm. We cannot thank our host Lisa enough for the conscientious and caring way she served us before and during our stay. Her “Premier Host” designation has been well-earned! We, and our lab will be looking forward to returning for our 2023 tree-cutting adventure – and hopefully another visit before then!

Staying at Bella was wonderful. There were so many nice features - the beds were awesome, very clean, well stocked kitchen, coffee/tea bar, s’mores “kit”, heating beds (omg! Yes!), easy thermostat, lots of places to Charge stuff, blankets galore, great toiletries, super super responsive, easy Checkin, easy check out …. One of the best AIRBNBS we have rented (and we’ve been to a lot)! Oh, and our dog loved it too!

Wonderful retreat!
We recently rented this cabin for a week to unwind, relax and just unplug from work. This home was immaculate and was the perfect place to relax. The wonderful porch swing watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee from the coffee bar to reading a book in the evening with the fireplace going. This house had all the everything we were looking for. Also their beds were super comfy!!! We will definitely be back!!!

After purchasing our first cabin, Bella Vista, in 1999 we purchased our newest cabin, Bella Vita, in the summer of 2021. We are seasoned host, who live in the area and have met so many wonderful guest over the years who remain cherished friends. If unable to do so, you must leave $5 per bag on counter for housekeeper to remove it. Dishes must be cleaned and put away and lights off and doors locked. No need to strip beds as housekeeper will take care if that. - No parties or events with more than 6 people allowed. We have those little extras covered, like for those with allergies, we use MERV 13 air filters in the cabin that captures bacteria, fine dust, smoke, smog, dander, mold spores, allergens, and virus carriers. The wonderful porch swing watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee from the coffee bar to reading a book in the evening with the fireplace going. This house had all the everything we were looking for. Also their beds were super comfy!!! We will definitely be back!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bella Vita It is a beautiful place inside and outside We relaxed, enjoyed the wonderful view, and enjoyed bird watching as well. Everything was well stocked, and we enjoyed the special goodies provided too

Comfort in the Mountains

Beautifully decorated in rustic and modern decor. Good location. Home is wonderfully equipped with modern appliances and everything you need for a long or short stay. View is somewhat limited as shown. Minor concerns received immediate response and resolution! Would stay there again!
