Three bedroom, two bathroom bungalow, a 10-minute walk to Historic Downtown Beaufort and the Bay (Beaufort River), Waterfront Park, antebellum mansions, museums, cemeteries, churches, art galleries, ice cream shops, restaurants, bars, antiques, clothing shops, home decor stores, and beautiful Beaufort River views.

Nicely updated with mostly new furnishings, fresh paint, and Smart systems in place including Simplisafe security system, Ring doorbells, keyless-entry door locks, Honeywell thermostat and WiFi but no cable. Fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, living room with dining area to seat six, family room with Smart TV, main bedroom with Smart TV, attached bathroom and closet, two more bedrooms share a bathroom, carport, front porch, screened side porch, back deck, large back yard, fire pit, gas grill, fully fenced property.

Children are welcome however the house has not been child-proofed and the front porch does not have railings and is 30" above the ground. You will need to watch your children at all times.

There is enough room for three cars, maximum, in the carport and driveway, as long as you park the three cars back to back and close together. There is no street parking, per the City of Beaufort.

Getting around

Beaufort Area Transit System, BATS, provides public transportation. Free shuttle covering the downtown area. You can rent bikes or a golf cart to explore Historic Downtown Beaufort, the Spanish Moss Trail and the Beaufort area. Unfortunately Uber and Lyft are not very reliable.

Check In: 3PM - 10PM

Check in time is after 3:00PM. You will be given the code to the front door keyless entry on the morning of your arrival. We kindly request you arrive by 10:00pm so as not to disturb the neighbors.

Service dogs are allowed but we kindly request advance notice. If you bring an animal other than a service animal you will be charged $250 per animal and will also be charged for any damages the animal does to the house or yard.

Minimum age limit for renters: 21

Minimum rental age is 21. The booking guest must have a valid working phone number and must stay at the house all nights. No third-party bookings are allowed.

Maximum occupancy: 6

The maximum number of overnight guests is six, including children. There will be a $50 per person per night charge for over six guests.

House Rules

Yes. House Rules will be emailed to you, along with the Rental Agreement to review and sign your acceptance for everyone in your group.

Payment Policy

A 25% deposit is due within 24 hours of booking, along with the signed rental agreement, the signed acknowledgement that you have read and accept the House Rules for everyone in your group, and your government-issued photo ID (held up to your face) for safety and identification purposes. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Other guests' full names and the $500 security deposit are due 7 days prior to arrival. Payment can be made via Zelle, Paypal, Venmo, or Square. We also accept personal checks as long as the funds clear our account at least 31 days prior to arrival. In lieu of the $500 security deposit guest can purchase separate property damage protection.

Damage Deposit Policy

As a security deposit alternative, houfyProtect, an upfront nonrefundable low cost property damage protection policy for just $5 per night, is taken at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

15 days or more prior to arrival: full refund, 8-14 days prior to arrival: 50% refund, 7 days or less prior to arrival: non-refundable. If we can rebook the dates you will receive a refund of the same number of nights and rate that we were able to rebook. The cleaning fee is refundable if you do not stay. Refunds will be less credit card processing fees, if applicable. If you begin your stay and depart early there will be no refund for unused nights or the cleaning fee. We highly recommend you purchase third party travel insurance in case you need to cancel prior to or during your stay.

Notes

The house is not wheelchair or infant-friendly, and has not been child-proofed. The front porch does not have railings. The floor in the family room is on a slight slope. There are no grab bars in the bathtubs/showers. We are not liable should something happen to an infant, toddler, child, wheelchair-bound guest, or anyone else during or after your stay.

We highly recommend you purchase accidental damage protection for damage done to the house during your stay, through a company like Rental Guardian or similar.

Only SERVICE ANIMALS are allowed. Please refer to the House Rules for Service Animal information. Emotional support animals are not Service Animals.

The house does not have cable. You can use our streaming services or your own to watch your favorite TV shows.
