Our "Tiny Home" Cabin features beautiful tongue & groove walls and ceilings & hardwood floors. The cabin has a full bathroom/shower, kitchen (fridge, gas range, microwave) coffee maker, overhead ceiling fan, & propane fireplace. The main floor has a queen size futon & queen memory gel foam mattress in the loft. Enjoy a spacious covered porch that overlooks our Campground's open grassy fields & large pond as well as 360 degree Mountain views. Enjoy fishing, hiking, tubing and more! Pet friendly!

The entire campground is available for our guests to enjoy! Guests will have access to the following amenities on the campground:
Free Wifi
Game Room (air hockey, pinball, arcade games)
Pickleball & Basketball Courts
3 Bath Houses (with hot showers and clean rest rooms)
North Toe River (great for fishing, tubing, kayaking)
Picnic Table & Fire Ring outside cabin door
Coin Laundry Room
Gathering Room w/TV, library of books and card tables

We live on the campground and will always be available to our guests if they have any questions about the cabin, our campground, or our general area. We are happy to give recommendations for good places to eat and area attractions!

Our Campground is centrally located and 25 miles from Banner Elk (lots of great skiing and hiking), 35 miles from Boone, 60 miles from Asheville, 25 miles from Grandfather Mountain, and just 12 miles from Linville Caverns/Falls

Please remember guests need to bring their own pillows, linens/blankets, and towels. We are pet friendly ($50 pet fee per dog) but guests must keep their pets leashed and picked up after. If you do not have linens we can provide a linen service for a fee. We also ask that pets do not get up in the lofts of cabins. Please do NOT move beds or furniture in the cabins.

Christopher’s Buck Hill Campground was a breath of fresh air! We stayed in Cabin #1, and while it was definitely a TINY home, we loved it! We have two young children and brought our 24 lb dog with us, and we had the absolute best time. Communication and responsiveness was quick, thorough, and thoughtful. The cabin was spotless, neat, and organized upon arrival, the set up was ideal, with a small gravel driveway right at the steps to the cabin, a fire pit and large picnic table in the cabin’s front yard, a pond for fishing in front of the cabins, a small sand playground for our children to play at, laundry facility, WiFi, and ice and firewood for purchase on property. There is also river access and tubes for rent on the property- which we didn’t utilize during this stay. Christopher is kind, thoughtful, helpful, and communicative. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful spot for a perfect weekend away. This tiny home is nestled in such a perfect spot to get to Linville Falls and Grandfather Mountain easily. Chris and his family were very hospitable as we arrived and even delivered firewood for the fire pit! I had a wonderful stay and would certainly return for another weekend away!!

A good base start and end your day; the nearest place to grab food, outside of a gas station, is 10 miles away, so be prepared to cook. It was clean, safe, friendly, and we would stay there again. They sale firewood and ice on site. I do recommend you bring small towells to dry dishes and use as a bathmat. All and all, a good trip.

Good sport for a quick trip. We enjoyed the fire pit and porch swing. The cabin is tiny ... as you would expect, but you’ll want to bring your own coffee, linens, soap, shampoo, towels and there is no TV. It’s great for those planning to be snowboarding or out on adventures most of the day. The group of cabins is within a trailer park / r v spots also onsite. The Mountain View’s are lovely and the location is conventionally located 1/2 hr to hr from bigger cities.

This Tiny house was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Every inch was utilized in such a efficient way. The outside space was just as great! Nice porch along with picnic table and fire ring. Not to mention the beautiful views. The grounds were cozy and inviting. Ice, laundry, shower house and TV/game room were wonderful amenities. Highly recommend this rental/location. We will definitely be back!

House Rules
We are pet friendly, guests pay a one time $50 pet fee per dog. Dogs must be leashed at all times while on the campground and picked up after. Smoking or burning candles are NOT allowed in ANY of our cabins.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy

No rain checks or refunds will be issued for holidays.

Either a rain check for the full amount or a full refund will be

given for cancellations received 14 days prior to check-in date.

A rain check or refund for 50% of the deposit will be issued for

cancellations received 4 to 13 days prior to check-in date.

Cancellations made less than 4 days prior to arrival date are not

eligible for refunds or rain checks. We cannot guarantee the weather.

Guests are responsible for the entire length of stay reserved.

Refunds will not be given for late arrivals or early departures.
