Our Tiny Home #5 features a cozy living room with TV, full bathroom, stocked kitchen (refrigerator, gas range, microwave, coffee maker) air conditioning, and a propane heater. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the 2 sleeping lofts both have queen mattresses. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. Enjoy a huge covered front porch that overlooks our large pond as well as 360 degree Mountain views. Enjoy fishing, hiking, and tubing! We are Pet Friendly!

The entire campground is available for our guests to enjoy! Guests will have access to the following amenities on the campground:
Free Wifi
Game Room (air hockey, pinball, arcade games)
Pickleball & Basketball Courts
3 Bath Houses (with hot showers and clean rest rooms)
North Toe River (great for fishing, tubing, kayaking)
Picnic Table & Fire Ring outside cabin door
Coin Laundry Room
Gathering Room w/TV, library of books and card tables

We live on the campground and will always be available to our guests if they have any questions about the cabin, our campground, or our general area. We are happy to give recommendations for good places to eat and area attractions!

Our Campground is centrally located and 25 miles from Banner Elk (lots of great skiing and hiking), 35 miles from Boone, 60 miles from Asheville, 25 miles from Grandfather Mountain, and just 12 miles from Linville Caverns/Falls

Please remember guests need to bring their own pillows, linens/blankets, and towels. We are pet friendly ($50 pet fee per dog) but guests must keep their pets leashed and picked up after. If you do not have linens we can provide a linen service for a fee. We also ask that pets do not get up in the lofts of cabins. Please do NOT move beds or furniture in the cabins.

Great family atmosphere and cozy accommodations. We absolutely loved our stay in cabin #5. There is fishing and hiking right on the property and Buck Hill Campground is conveniently located to multiple attractions, skiing, tubing, Linville Falls, natural gem/stone mining, etc. We will most definitely be coming back again for more trips and memories!!

Chris was an amazing host! He helped out without hesitation when there was a booking issue, he responded super quick - even on thanksgiving- the pictures are exactly what you get, nothing less. These cabins are in a perfect area where you are close to stores and things to do but yet still far enough away to feel secluded to the outside world

‘Fabulous tiny house/cabin with beautiful views and great hosts! Our party of 4 adults and 3 kids were very comfortable in cabin #5. It is spacious, clean, well-appointed and has a huge porch which our family enjoyed very much. Everything we needed for our family getaway was there or within easy reach. Our hosts made sure we were comfortable and they were quick to respond. The Buck Creek campgrounds were really beautiful and well-kept. We also enjoyed many activities in the area: hiking, river activities, local attractions (Grandfather Mountain!!!), roasting marshmallows over the campfire and gorgeous views of the mountains. Our stay here was fantastic and we are definitely planning to come back again.

Exceeded expectations! I stayed here with my wife, two adult daughters and two granddaughters and the space was outstanding. The two lofts were fun and more spacious then I expected. The private bedroom downstairs was a nice touch. Kitchen and bathroom were excellent. The location is secluded and yet not too far from all of the attractions in the area. The scenery is beautiful. The host, Christopher was excellent. I highly recommend this cabin for a family getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I run a beautiful campground in Western North Carolina. Our guests love to trout fish and tube in our river, or hike up to the top of Buck Hill Mountain (our property is 144 acres) We rent both RV sites, tent sites, and 11 cabins for our guests to enjoy while saying with us.

House Rules
We are pet friendly, guests pay a one time $50 pet fee per dog. Dogs must be leashed at all times while on the campground and picked up after. Smoking or burning candles are NOT allowed in ANY of our cabins.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy

No rain checks or refunds will be issued for holidays.

Either a rain check for the full amount or a full refund will be

given for cancellations received 14 days prior to check-in date.

A rain check or refund for 50% of the deposit will be issued for

cancellations received 4 to 13 days prior to check-in date.

Cancellations made less than 4 days prior to arrival date are not

eligible for refunds or rain checks. We cannot guarantee the weather.

Guests are responsible for the entire length of stay reserved.

Refunds will not be given for late arrivals or early departures.
