There is also a mezzanine floor with additional single futon beds if needed to help sleeping arrangements, but this is not suitable for children as access is up a ladder from the lounge.

Hi! I'm British born but have now been living more of my life in France than in the UK, and this is now my home. I've been running Mountain Highs Self-Catered Chalets and Apartments in Morzine since 1995 and I live in a little village just 5 mins down the valley from Morzine, with my 2 daughters, our border collie Sydney and our cats Tina and Asha.
I enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, and trekking, road biking and lake swimming in the summer, and reading and music whenever I get the time ;) I also love to travel and get to know new places...wish there was just more time to get to all the places I haven't been to yet!
Morzine and the Portes du Soleil are a wonderful place to choose for a holiday and I feel I am very lucky to live here all year round. I am very keen for everyone who stays in our properties to have a great holiday and I personally spend a lot of time communicating with each and every Mountain Highs client. Don't hesitate to ask me if you'd like information that you don't see in my listings. I speak French, English and Italian, and can just about communicate in Spanish too, have patience!

There's ample parking at the chalet (2 cars right by the chalet, and spaces for another 2 just up a flight of steps, over the garage). We do recommend you have your own vehicles. There's a free bus "navette" which runs in the main winter and summer seasons, called M-bis line, which stops 50m from the chalet and drops you off at the Ardent telecabine (for easy access to Les Lindarets, Avoriaz and the wider Portes du Soleil ski area)

No pets are allowed in this chalet at all.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: We take a €500 Damage Deposit on arrival, either in Euros or Sterling cash, or in a UK or Euro cheque, or (IN ADVANCE ONLY) by credit or debit card. We refund this deposit on your departure as long as we are able to check the chalet properly on your departure. If this is not possible (if you are leaving very early or very late) we will withhold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to check the property, and we will then return it to you by bank transfer.
In the spring, summer and autumn periods (when the rental rates are very much lower) there is a cleaning charge of €200 payable in Euros CASH. This goes directly to the cleaners. In the winter ski season the cleaning is included in our rates.
Once your booking is confirmed by Airbnb I require that you complete a booking form, which will be sent to you by email within 24 hours of your booking being confirmed (once you have responded to my confirmation message with your email address). French short-term rental legislation requires that registered accommodation providers keep a record of all names of renters with their contact information. Failure to provide your email address or complete a booking form can result in cancellation of your booking.

Refundable Damage Deposit
We take a €500 damage deposit, either in cash on arrival, or you can pay it by card up to the day before you arrive.
Notes
Please note that there is a Damage Deposit of €500 to pay on arrival. This is held until the day of your departure, or when we have been able to inspect the apartment for any damage to any part of the apartment, or damage loss of bedlinen or towels. We cannot take the Damage deposit by credit card on arrival, only in cash or cheque, but you CAN pay it by 24 hours ahead of your arrival by credit card, by contacting us on by phone. Please note, the chalet is not suitable for and cannot be booked by mountain biking groups. Outside of the winter season (when rental rates are substantially lower) there is a cleaning charge of €200, payable on arrival in cash.
