Brooklyn is a unique working class neighborhood with beautiful 100 year old houses. We are near the Spring Water Corridor, the Rhododendron garden, West Moreland, Division Street, Brooklyn neighborhood park, Aladdin Theater, and Rose City Coffee.
I am two blocks from bus stop and seven blocks from max stop. There is plenty of on-street parking available.
There are no pets allowed. There is no smoking, vaping, or drugs allowed on the premises (inside and out).
To keep the yard beautiful, several mornings a week I am around the cottage as early as 7:30a watering and keeping things looking neat. When it is extremely hot I need to water every day. I am as quiet as possible.
There are two bicycles in the shed. These are "One-size". The frame is designed for various sized persons and is easily adjustable. There are bike locks, helmets, and a bike pump available.

This guest has never stayed in an Airbnb before. She had no reviews. Airbnb flagged her as a possible scammer. I don’t know why. Maybe she had trouble creating her profile? She did prove to be technologically challenged as my daughter physically assisted her to access the WI-FI yet she continued to have problems. In March I bought a new modem, a new router, and increased my internet speed with Comcast. I just checked in with my current guest, he said he’s been in zoom meetings all day. The TV works. I bought a new TV in November 2021. The profile clearly states that the TV only has Netflix and Hulu. There is hot water at the kitchen sink. I just knocked on the door and current guest let me test it. Becky contacted me and asked if there was off-street parking I said no. She was aware before booking that off-street parking was not available. I do not include a dishwasher as an amenity in the listing.
Not the best neighborhood? Houses in this neighborhood cost between $600,000 - $900,000. It is a tree lined street with 100+ year-old houses and everyone has beautifully kept yards. In the private feedback she left for me she also said, “Otherwise the apartment was clean and fine”.
I was in Europe during Becky’s stay so I did not meet her or see the unit when she left. This is what my house cleaner messaged me, “The people who stayed there last had a party or something. Absolutely dirty! Her bloody panties and bra I had to deal with. It was absolutely nasty!” She left a lot of her belongings that had to be dealt with. I sent her a message and asked her how everything was going. She did not respond.
