Beechmont Hideaway - Louisville

Enjoy contactless access in this private guest suite located near the Expo Center, U of L, and Churchill Downs. You're also 5 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown. The bedroom has a king size bed and you can sleep two additional guests on the futon in the living area. You'll have a private bathroom, dining area with refrigerator and microwave, and living area with a 50-inch TV. There is designated parking for one car in the gravel driveway right outside your private entrance.



The suite includes a living area with a futon sofa-bed and TV, dining area with refrigerator and microwave that can also serve as a dedicated workspace, master bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed and TV, and bathroom stocked with plush towels and a few amenities you may have forgotten to bring. The private entrance operates with a smart lock and is at the foot of the gravel driveway where you can park one car (there is plenty of street parking if you have more than one car). While you have the entire suite to yourselves, there is only one thermostat for the whole house and it’s located upstairs in the private residence. In the suite itself are HVAC vents that can be opened and closed, fans, a space heater with a dedicated circuit (so it won’t surge) and extra blankets. If you want the thermostat raised or lowered you need only contact your host with that request. You'll have the entire suite to yourselves and have access to the back yard where there is outdoor seating and a fire pit.



Beechmont is a lovely residential neighborhood with pocket parks, a fire station and a charming local library. There is a wonderful coffee shop called Sunergos on Woodlawn between Third and Southern Parkway as well as restaurants and a bookstore. You are between two entrances to 264 on Taylor Blvd to the west and Third Street to the east and the airport is just one exit away. From 264 you can take 65 N to quickly get downtown.



I live in the upstairs levels of the house and will be in communication when necessary, but I keep your privacy in mind. I foster kittens for the local humane society, so you may hear the pitter patter of little feet above you during kitten season.
